Mr. Random Reviews. thanks for one of them most entertaining, realistic and well documented reivews of the Chevrolet Corvette C4 with two examples present making it easier to compare and contrast differences.
He right id rather have a sleeper gem then annoying civic miata subbies etc even toyota corollas are hooked up but 7 years ago if you had a corolla theyl laugh at you keep it the reviews
I love my 09 LNF cobalt ss/tc sedan. 400hp currently. Could turn it up to ~425hp but try to not completely max it out. Amazing car! My buddy had a 09 cobalt ss/tc coupe running ~360hp.
Bypassing the throttle body coolant lines is also another good cheap mod. I installed a ceramic fiber gasket between the plenum and throttle body to help with heat dissipation as the throttle body was no longer being cooled by the coolant. This in addition to a more open airbox allows for much cooler air entering the engine.
I bought a clean one 2002 2.5ts and it’s a pretty cool looking car in person, it is very reliable and honestly don’t even mod it for power, just do cosmetics like lips, skirts and rims and maybe mud flaps, other than that, don’t molest it and it will last you a long time.
Aeros are the best looking generation in my opinion. Most of the stuff this guy complains about is stupid, if you want a sports car, buy a mustang. Its a luxury highway car, a quiet ride and overboosted power steering is a good thing.
And here we are five years later… I just saw these about a couple of weeks ago. They seem popular, yet I don’t see them in vehicles nor are there any videos on them and the ones out there are horrible. I’ll be putting mine in my wrangler. I don’t think it’ll matter what the car is as long as it has round headlights. Oh yeah!👍
Ford never recalled this engine and they had a class action lawsuit against them that went nowhere. the Second option was having the can gear and shaft drilled and a pin pressed in. this worked well but a few did fail and welding then became the preferred method.
A bit off topic with the light conversion however I have a question about light conversion just not the dome lights. So Mr random, fan of your videos I've learned many things over the years with my crown Vic however. I'm doing a front end swap on my crown Vic going with Grand Marquis header and bumper and Mercury Marauder headlights and corners. With several wiring harnesses looking the same, would you happen to know what wiring harness conversion I would need for the plug and play crown Vic wiring harness to the Mercury Marauder headlights and corners? Any help would greatly be appreciated if you see this
I had a 93 SC automatic in 2003. It was not fast. Felt good on the highway though. My friend both an auto and a 5 speed around 2005. You could get them real cheap then, like a $1000 to $1500. As cool as they were when new, it would cost an arm and a leg to go through one now. Projects can be had here for $1000 or less now in CA, and many go to the scrapyards. Too bad
I have a Silver 01 GTP Special Edition Coupe. Owned it since 2020 and now it has 240k. Stock motor, trans, head gasket and even catalytic converter. I've roasted the tires, done reverse donuts and bounced it off the limiter many times and its never left me stranded, 24 mpg too
