The 2000s NBA was the last line of the true greats. The game is so boring now. No passion besides a couple players. The league used to be insanely good. Now players rest half the season.
Bro every defender sees it from a mile away, it is quite literally a bad move that does not create space, all these shots are well contested, definitely not wide open shots. He hits em anyway...
Too bad he alienated himself from so many. As a player, he is one of the all-time best. Not only that, but three of his sons also played in the N.B.A. Somebody should have written a book covering his life and career because he was that great.
one of Antoine's "trademarks" was once he get going and on fire, he started to jack up 3s at the half-court lol he literally was the first logo shooter
Walton’s era was kind of forgotten, pre-Bird/Magic. Then it was short due to his injuries. But in his prime he was dominant, I compare him to Tim Duncan - just solid fundamentals with size. What made him special was his personality. You could just tell he was a really good guy
My favorite John Wooden line, after Bill went 21-22 from the field in the '73 NCAA Championship Game, "Bill, I used to think you were pretty good. Then you missed that shot". Such a shame that injuries, that began in college, limited him to brief flashes of his talents.
Had he not of had to backup for Wallace on the Blazers for so long maybe he would have gotten the praise kobe Bryant and kevin Garnett got, they all came out of high school the same year.
They say you die two deaths. Your physical death and a death of remembrance. Even if the Internet is gone tomorrow, I'll remember you until I'm gone Mr. Walton. I pray that you are with Jesus Christ of Nazareth sir.
