My control pod had the same issue. But the 8V and 18V were arriving in the control pod. There was no need to go to the subwoofer. How i fixed: 1 - Open the control pod 2 -There is a 16V 1000mF capacitor inside the contorl pod (I had to open the control pod, it's biggest one inside the control pod), i replace the capacitor. The unit still wouldn't turn on, so I went to step 3 3 - Near this large 16V 1000mF capacitor there are two 6.3V 100mF, two 16V 10mF and one 16V 220mF capacitors. They didn't seem damaged, they were in good condition after a visual inspection, but I still replaced the all of them. The unit still didn't turn on, so I went to step 4 4 - There is a resistance at the bottom of the large 16V 1000mF capacitor, (VERY SMALL, in fact there are two small ones side by side, they are close to one of the terminals of the 16V 1000mF capacitor. This resistance was not letting the voltage reach to the diodes, I had to solder a resistance over the one that was there since I was afraid to remove it. The unit finally turned on. NOTE: If the problem is not with the subwoofer, with steps 2 and 3 the unit should turn on.
If your tv has dtsx & earc then I suggest increase your budget a bit and buy an atmos soundbar. Zebronics has one 5.1.2 soundbar 9750 pro at 16k only. You can try that. Or else you can try govo or zebronics 5.1 at 7k

Hey I have a Pioneer VSX-1131 receiver, and the LED display doesn't work. I have checked that it isn't just dimmed and it's not that. How would you go about troubleshooting that? Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks for the detailed explanation. I succeed to shut down the HDMI Red Light Blinking' but display do not light> If I shut down the receiver and start again the HDMI Red Light Blinking begins again. Please any idea?

Hi thanks for this helpful video. I have a VSX930 two zone amp and set up the speakers using the setup mic. Being a visual person rather than someone who understands manuals, I found the iControl5 app really helpful in controlling the amp but now the app is no longer available and can't find a replacement. Do you know if there's an app for android that works?
