The suspension drops to help loading and unloading stuff in the cargo area. Not for ease of passenger loading and unloading. You can disable the start and stop with the push of a tab on the screen.
We have had 4 issues with our 2023 Aviator. 1) Backup camera recalled but seems to be fixed. 2) Ventilated seats didn’t work from the day one. We didn’t know until the first warm day and tried them. 3) Black Label service is a joke. It took 6 months to get an appointment and the ventilation still doesn’t work. 4) We are now seeing water inside the tail lights.
I have a 2022 Aviator and love it. I love the way the twin turbos give you that immediate thrust on demand. If you can afford this car, you shouldn't be complaining about gas mileage guys. My range is 365 miles and get around 19-20 mpg combined driving. I'm not too lazy to push a button to open the back gate. I love the leather interior and the car's computer is easy to use. Also, someone said they couldn't get bluetooth hooked up to their phone, mine works fine. My wife and I have apple phones and both work in our car. I am very pleased with my Aviator.
Eric - is there an issue with rotors ? 30,000 ,rotors usually last along time unless u drive a lot in the hills area . Or is it wear and tear ? Just curious
We have had a Lincoln Navigator every three years since they came out. They were for us always a perfect vehicle. We had family in Mississippi and Texas. We would carry stuff going and coming. While there we would transport family and friends. They would do both beautifully. Once we had take a full load of passengers and their luggage plus all our stuff for return home in Michigan. So I rented a uhaul for everybody's luggage and stuff. We then drove from Killeen, TX to Natchez, MS. The next day, my wife and I returned to Michigan. A year or two later my wife got sick. We could no longer be road "warriors". So at the end of our lease, we had to let the Navigators go. We went a year without a road car. Then in late 2020 we got an Aviator Black Label. Perfect vehicle (for my wife / she loved her Navigators / school teach 40 years / little lady, big car). So loved her Aviator even more. I lost her in February 2021. I returned the Aviator 2023, wanted to keep her, but the purchase price was going to be double monthly that our lease payment. So, I hated to let her go. A nice Navigator now is 100k+ and a nice Aviator is getting too.

I always wonder what the decision process is for how to do a job, and what equipment to use. On a farm channel, they used a claw thing on a small dozer. No room in a yard?
Auto start you can disable! The gas mileage is phenomenal, the rear hatch you should have paid extra for the foot sweep and if you put it normal drive mode the suspension won’t do that!
I pity the poor bastard who quotes for the fence! They’ve ground down the stumps so you can’t see them. Every hole would hit either a solid stump or roots.
