It’s eerie, the resemblance, the soft spoken voice, mannerisms, body structure. Whitney’s debut 1983. Teresa bows out the same year at a young 35. Cissy even sung at the tribute BET award soon after Whitney’s death. I thought she would be too heart broken. All of her family were eating off of her. She was just the cash cow. She had to feel used. Bobby was too young and weak. He couldn’t protect her from the ravenous wolves. She was like a delicate butterfly who’s wings were clipped. They weren’t her family. Even her dad was suing her for millions. There was no true love and protection just scavengers til death.
I started crying as soon as I seen her and heard her voice. It hit hard this is Whitney Houston in so many ways. Cissy said in her book that she didn’t want anymore boys and she wanted to make sure she got a daughter. Well she did by any means. RIP Whitney Graves

What a sacrifice....real mother...she knew ppl will start comparing them...I only wish though that she lived in a more comfortable house, from the outside it looks very little, shame for someone who worked so hard to build a career then to let it all go. I believe Whitney would have known Teresa was her real mother even though we don't know for sure, I wish she had helped her financially, clearly Jehovah's church didn't care to support her more financially, from what I hear certain church groups demand most of yr income to join them, don't know if this was the case with Teresa.

It bothers me to watch someone that not only look so much like Whitney Houston but also sound like her, skinny like her, style like her and one say they are not related. How can someone look so much like someone and then you think about the woman who supposed to be the mother and you dont see nothing alike. Teresa is for sure about fifteen years older than Whitney Houston back in those days people had know issues giving kids up to be with people with better life and when I would see Cissy she always reminded me of more of a stepmom or caretaker but never a real mother figure. Its something about Cissy that never sat well with me she the type to have more secrets and skeletons in her closet.
That’s her mama! Stuff just adding up too much! She supposedly had a relationship w/Whitney’s dad back in the day. She was 14 and he was a grown, married man. So Cissy probably tolerated Whitney and raised her. I’ve never felt like Cissy was her bio mama.
This episode was kinda whack! Not only did t.v. shows move a bit slower back then, but Theresa hardly had any action except to look like a damsel in distress.
