The performance wasn't great but we got the 3 points. If we can fix our defensive issues then we should be able to win that game 3-0 and everyone would be happy despite the meh performance. It's October.. i know we have to improve but right now and with Rodri out we was always going to struggle a bit. I'm confident it will get better
I had meniscus surgery and they literally had me walking to the washroom as soon as I woke up from the anesthesia... I don't know why people think that will be such a big issue... it'll heal probably far quicker than the ACL will, especially if he's not putting any weight on that leg for a few months. Without any kind of PT I think I was back within 2-3 months. I'd be more worried about how the ACL recovery is if its a rupture (vs a tear)
Alvarez no need to replace him exactly...hebplayed mainly false 9..and mnay oher players can do that but maybe if they can find ine fre agent striker for back up who mainly sets on bench. imo getting multi role playe maker attack play maker is better than pure striker .
Big up Luke, this is honestly the worst managerial performance of all time. The mis-profiling of players is a disgrace. Phil is not a left winger, I watch England if Phil is in the team but he’s being hung out to dry mate
There isnt a cohesion with the team. Southgate plays people out of position which is a death sentence for those players. They're world class players but they work religiously under world class managers with a strong philosphy and discipline for certain systems. Your best bet is to haggle w their clubs to give them more time together as an international team, or you just play them where they naturally thrive and rely on their innate skills. It becomes obvious when you see the players arguing amongst themselves. Of course theyll argue because they represent their club's systems and won't emphasise with other systems. Im really surprised we dont have an elite manager who wants the glory of giving England a world/euro trophy.
I try not to get excited over transfers until I see them sign the papers. 100m is a lot of cash when the likes of Kimmich could be got for about a quarter of that, though. But I aint Pep and this is supposed to be who he wants, so... If it means Pep signs an extension, then it's worth it.
English Premier League games need played in England by English teams.. This just another step towards a Super League. Games abroad first. Followed by Rangers and Celtic added in because they're 'British'... Then after that has become standard, in will come Real, Barca. etc.
