kia ora from NZ ,I love your sincerity and genuine attitude in the video it helped to over come the complexity of wire wrapping especially for a first timer so thank you, I am trying to make a wire wrapped insect from another tutorial , only problem I found is that the wires gauges stated in the materials listed ( which I have purchased already ) compared with the actual wire gauges she was using during the tutorial seem to be different I hope this makes sense and any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Kia! Thank you so much for the kind words! I would have to look at the video you referenced to better understand but it might not be just about the gauges but about the type of wire you purchased. Every manufacturer produces wires differently. I have wires that the color peels off really easily and also the hardness varies by manufacturer even when it's the same gauge. I hope that helps a little!
@@vividvisionsbymarialuisa thanks , vivi I purchased a bedalon wire that said tarnish resistant except ive noticed the gold is coming off already, is this normal?
Thanks for such detailed information. Which guage you would recommend for wire wrapped bracelet making...21 guage is thicker for multiple layers as i am thinking. Any ideas would be great for me to pick the right wire
Hi! For the base I recommend using 18 to maintain form, and to wire wrap I use 26 or 28. If you're using bare copper I would use 24 or 26 as it is softer. It really depends on the strength of your hands. I like 28 in all colors especially gold and silver coated wire because you achieve a more refined look but I wouldn't use it with copper because it's so soft. Sterling silver is also pretty soft but a lot more expensive. If you're just starting out I recommend copper filled wire or bare copper. Hope that helps! ❤
Hello new here .love the tutorial this is a great Idea and a steering wheel cover wow .Save time on cutting fabric it in a circle for the board.thank you for sharing.
Those shiny long beads are beetle wings! They are harvested after the beetle mates and passes away. Theyre super light weight and really fun! The paper that fell out goes to the bottom left compartment with the polymer clay beads that I made :)
Oh wow! How interesting regarding the beetle wings! I'll have to make a fun necklace with them! And the clay beads are so pretty! Thank you so much for all the pretties, I can't wait to use them! ❤😊
I have to follow-up on the mini sewing machine. It works like a charm!! It only makes a straight stitch and it's super noisy, lol but it works perfect for what I needed it! 👏👏👏
Hi Joee! Right?! I've never heard of silk ribbon embroidery. That sounds lovely! You'll have to send me a picture of what that looks like. It's so cool that you like paper crafting too! ❤❤❤
Hi- enjoyed the video but I’m not at all a speed beader. It’s my zen time to relax and unwind. Looking forward to you next video. Hope the dogs get well soon.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Totally agree with you. When I'm not making videos I love to sit and listen to an audiobook or podcast while I'm beading. That's why I think I'm a slow beader. I like to take my time. Thank you again for watching and entering the giveaway! ❤😊
Hi Cathy! Sorry this comment comes after 3 weeks but I was waiting for possible more entries to be fair but I don't want to delay any further. Please send me a DM with your name and address to send you the bracelets I promised in my video. My instagram name is the same as my channel. Thanks!
It's fun! It's very soft and can peel easily, so I wouldn't use it to make things like loops or shapes where you need sturdier wire but you can wrap it around beads to decorate them. Thank you! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much but it's nothing compared to the people I take lessons from. You should see the amazing things they can do with wire. They are working with it constantly and they don't use copper wire which is soft and maleable. They use harder gauges in gold, silver and other colors, so I guess their hands are pretty strong! lol.
I'm so sorry if it's not clear. I'll make sure to add voice to videos like this in the future for clarity on what I'm doing. Thank you for letting me know. ❤️
I'm so happy it inspired you! I love full wire work cuffs too but I realized that by doing it this way, it adds elegance to any type of bead. I want to make this in gold with pearls. I think it would look so elegant. Thank you so much! ❤️
Your necklace is absolutely gorgeous! Love your use of the Czech mixes and the Fire Polish beads as well as the organic round bead! We love it! Thank you for sharing!
Hi Maria! I’m following your journey through the unopened bead packages and I find myself being excited about what you are opening… great video as always 💕
Hi Joee! It definitely is a journey! You have no idea how many Soft Flex kits I have unopened! 🙈 Thank you for always watching and supporting me. It means more than you know! ❤
