Waste of time depends on your experience. If you are not a beginner, I agree. However there are many people out there who think about buying a more expensive DJ Controller or select a cheaper older one to save a lot of money with nearly same features. Happy starting DJing!
What settings do I need to change on my serato plz so I can learn to scratch using my left hand like you are doing in the video showed as I’m a newbie to using a controller thanks 🤘
with the Numark DJ2GO2 it is only possible to scratch in pause mode. If your track is playing, you cannot scratch since the DJ2GO2 doesn't have touch sensitive platters. Please watch out for the DJ2GO2 Touch version, this newer model has touch sensitive platters for scratching during playing the track.
like everywhere in the world a DJ has to prepare his DJ Set to the target crowd. I recommend you to request your manager about your crowd and the people in your location what they want to listen.
serato lite is free and available without subscription. you just need to download and install it. may you need to install the driver for the controller.
I have a question for a beginner, i just bought a numark mixtrack pro fx, and i wanted to know if i could using scratch like you only with the lite version of Serato ? Because i can't find option to put a "scratch mode" or "vinyl mode" like virtual dj, but on serato. Appreciated your perf, by the way :)
I have a question, I recently picked up a Numark Party Mix 2 but I have "scratch delay" as I let go of the jogwheel it takes a few miliseconds before it stars playing. In your video I dont see you having the same problem. Do you have an idea what the solution for my problem is? Would be great if you reached out. Nice video with great scratching also! Cheers!
I tried this controller few days ago for like 30minutes, start scratching the platter is a bit heavy, the crossfader is not really loose, and the pads are not responsive. Other than that is has many benefits like 4 channel, XLR outputs, and information display at the center of jogwheel. So i assume its great for house DJ, not so ideal for scratch DJ.
Hi Sir, i have a some questions/enquiry: 1) I'm a beginner to learn DJ scratch, i unable to follow your scratch sample tutorial, or scratch pattern, i wonder is my dj controller problem or my scratch skill? I'm using Hercules Inpulse 200 mk2, should i keep this controller or should upgrade an advance dj controller? 2) Im using Serato Lite software, should i change it to Djuiced?
May you just to switch your jog wheel mode from slip mode to scratch mode? it doesn't matter if you use djuced or Serato, both work well for beginners. 😀
Hi @@BeginnerDJ, thanks for your reply, how to switch my jog wheel mode from "slip mode" to "scratch mode"? By default it turn on already right? You mean in software or my controller?
@@BeginnerDJ OK, I now understand that if I click on the keylock symbol, I can change the bpm without changing the key of the track, but is it also possible to "just" change the pitch without affecting the bpm? for mashups, that would be a cool feature.
You can record your PC internal soundcard including the PC screen. You will also be able to use your PC soundcard output for further processing of your audio signal. I recommend you to mute system sounds.
