It can't be that much since the Germans have invented: Bookprinting, Radio, Television, Tape Recorder, Record Player, Walkman, Microphone, Telephone, Computer, Car, Airbag, Scanner, X-ray, Turbine Engine of Airplanes, ✈️, Rocket, Bycicle, Motorcycle, Helicopter, Zeppelin, the Diesel, Gasoline and the Electric Engine. Scanner, Contact lenses, Airbag, Toothpaste, Coffie Filters, Hangglider. All of the above are German Inventions. So do you seriously believe that the steam engine (English invention) somehow matches that ? And really what important invention that we nowadays use is left?

No arguement here from an American. Our nation was built, industrialized, and made rich by Germans. Germans have more inventions than all the ethnicities of the earth combined. I am glad I have strong German ancestry!
