At one point a channel focusing on Minecraft content, now just generally Disney content and ride audio. Uploads should eventually return :). Thanks for checking out my channel
I love this version. its like theres monsters at the bottom of the shaft and the little girl is fighting them to keep the riders out of the twilight zone.
An English translation of Hightower's monoluge: Why didn't you hear my attention...? But I was a foolish person... I destroyed myself because I was crazy about obtaining the precious treasures that I often forgot myself. I'll repeat that terrifying experience forever. That is my destiny. _Huh. Idol of Curse?_ _Shiriki Utundu's Eyes!_ Wave [your] hand and say goodbye to yourself. You were saved. But be careful. Don't become obsessed with the attractiveness of terror. Never come again.
It's different from the original ride in the US and France because Japan didn't know much about Twilight Zone and Oriental Land didn't want to pay loyalties with both Disney and Paramount (It was CBS at that time).
I didnt realize that the Paris TOT incorporated the little girl so much in the shaft. Can you tell me is there a front sign for the Tower of Terror in Paris like there is for the Florida one?
Something like this would be a good update for the Floridian version - a variety of spooky/hair-raising sequences outside of the drops and more interaction with the ghosts of the Hollywood Tower Hotel.
@red racer They didn't take away the theme from the Parisian version of the ride. If anything, they added to it. "The Twilight Zone" has often been described (by creator Rod Serling, himself) to be "a dimension of imagination" that is home to all sorts of surreal and supernatural sights and sounds - a place where one's dreams and nightmares can come to life. These include things like aliens, spirits, demons, and magic. Some examples include "You Drive" (the episode in which a man's car comes to life and stalks him after a hit and run); "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" (the classic episode featuring a demon attacking a commercial plane); and "Little Girl Lost" (the episode in which a couple tries the save their daughter, who accidently tumbled through a portal that leads to another dimension). These are similar to what has been added to Paris' version of the "Tower of Terror" - monsters hiding in the elevator shafts, a malfunctioning elevator with a mind of its own, and a slip into another dimension. One way to think of it is the elevator shafts themselves bearing the portal to the fifth dimension; this would allow either explorers to pass through to another world, or paranormal anomalies or phenomena to seep into ours.
@red racer well, I’m not saying the original Tower of Terror is bad as it is. It’s one of my favorite attractions. I’m just saying the updates given in Paris’ version could be a fun way to evolve it. There have been much worse changes done to the ride (Mission Breakout).
I agree! If the Twilight Zone deal ends, this would be a great alternative. I think a mix of this and the current one at florida would be a great update!
JakeDLP i know that ? lol its an altered mission breakout drop sequence like the elevator doesnt bounce when it stops on a floor but it does the same tropes as mission breakout and only the top of the elevator doors that are displayed outside open just like mission breakout when towers drop sequence used all three
@@1TSS0FLVFFY it really isnt. Yeah it only has one door open but this drop sequence in particular has more in common with tower - saut dans la quatrieme dimension and florida's fear every drop. Eg the last ascend uses the exact same programming as the original DCA/paris tower's final ascend but replaces the stop at the 13th floor with a fake out after it reaches maximum speed
@@1TSS0FLVFFY also the only reason only one door opebs is because it takes away time required for show tests in the morning meaning they don't have to spend as much time preparing the tower for opening.
@@jakedlp_ well thats disappointing they should use the attractions maximum capability its more visually pleasing when all three doorways open and the view is better, but back to the original point, this version of tower of terror literally would not exist without mission breakout, also the single doorway mimics mission breakout like i dont understand why you're fighting me on it i prefer tower more but this is clearly a mission breakout style of tower and im stating the obvious lolol edit: im rereading your comment about the single elevator and you dont even answer anything like what exactly is it taking time away from??? and how does that affect ride testing like what??? lol
elevator enters shaft: sally: i wouldn't go in there if i were you mirror scene: sally: i warned you, you didn't listen corridor scene: sally: come with me! before its too late! elevator exits shaft: sally: next time, you should listen.
Not the most thorough but *doors close* Little girl: “I wouldn’t go in there if I were you” *mirror scene* Little girl: “shhhhh if you scream it will only get worse” *corridor scene* Little girl: “they know you’re here.....whatever you do, don’t scream” *Doors open* Little girl: “next time, be quiet”
