Became perennial pro bowl punter, while we double doinked our way thru seasons. Great draft, but I must say that they need to put a bronze of Lovie next to Halas at the new lakeside domed stadium (make it happen, Kevin Warren). Lovie is why the Bears last 2 drafts are where they are. 3 unbelievable plays to end the Texans game over Colts and Lovie goes for 2 after the TD to hand the 1st pick to the Bears ! Destiny was changed right there. Poles gets a B, because of Claypool, center Patrick, guard Nate. All new offensive staff and all new skill players and O line and QB....is that a problem? What did Caleb do in his 1st year at USC? Won the Heisman! So no, I'm not worried. We make the playoffs, we beat Greenbay twice, Caleb shatters Bears rookie QB records ! Bear Down Bears ! It's time for brash optimism!
We really need to get a pass rusher. Just have to get a 1 year deal with Yannick Ngakoue for a friendly deal. We can get a top pass rusher next draft. It’s going to be more defense heavy. If we don’t get one. Our defense won’t be as good. Plus having Washington. He can help get the most from Yannick Ngakoue.
I thought it was cool last year that Dexter & Pickens came in basically on the Buddy system & now ironically our 1& 9 picks come in on the buddy system too lol & also love that we have so many hometown kids on the team too
Kyle will be better in his rookie year than field was in his third year by far if he fails that’s on him the regime and the Chicago Bears has set him up to succeed to the fullest

I was a keep Justin guy cause no one player is worth number 1 with the risk of bust compared to 3 or 4 top 60 picks. I would trade 100 out of 100 times. With that said I’m a bears fan first and support every decision they make. I hope Caleb is as good as advertised
there are things in life where you can’t hedge. 50% of marriages end up in divorce. you do it anyways. same goes with the #1 pick qb. you take the “plunge” and hope for the best. you can’t stay single forever and you can’t try to win super bowls with justin fields or even better qbs like brock purdy.
Caleb is not the answer man. Too small, losing/folding to ranked teams and for all intensive purposes is a diva. If a vast majority of current and former players back keeping Fields thats enough for me. The defense lost the close games last year.
He has the arm strength to go deep he just doesn't have the offensive line to give him time to do so that's why we need Jim Harbaugh because Harbaugh can turn Bagent into a Superstar so yes he is the quarterback going forward he is the future of the Chicago bears and yes HE IS THE BROCK PURDY of the bears
You better hope he's not our PURDY or its gonna get UGLIER. Getsy got the Bears again. He's the reason noodle arm Bagent is here. Eventually the arm is going to fail under pressure. He should not even be on the roster. We do not have a strong enough overall team to protect hide his weak arm. They need to get off of Bagent quickly if the want to seriously become SB competitive. Only in Chicago can this happen.
Fields is Rex Grossman 2.0. I wish it weren't the case but he just is. Bagent has a chance to become a Brock Purdy, but the odds are not great. It all comes down to development. Arm strength is overblown to some degree, not all elite qbs have the strongest arms in the league. That being said, it makes throws easier. I'm pulling for the guy, but he's likely just a very good backup. Fields though is not the guy. Arm strength and fleet feet mean little when decision making and field vision are in question. They're going to have to draft somebody. I'd fix the lines and fill in the roster this year, take a QB the next year. If a QB is drafter by the Bears this year, it should be in the 3rd or 4th round. They've been saying multi-year rebuild since the start.
His balls are exactly in the space needed to be successful. Reading the d coverages comes with more playing time at speed. I'd still keep Fields and get him a guru. How a contract works out is the real judge.

Last year he carried that team on his back and was the BEST player on a team that had a horrible defense, a horrible offensive line, horrible receivers besides Mooney & Kmet. The only reason they were competitive was because of Fields. He's a big playmaker. That's why he's still here. Has he been consistent NO. But this team hasn't been consistent for his three years since he's bern here. They're trying to turn the corner and I'm certain Fields will be a big part of this rebuild moving forward. If you don't like Field's nor the team. It's quite simple. Don't watch anymore.
I really don't trust the direction that Justin Fields is taking the Bears the process takes too long to win. So with that I say can Bagent be that QB? Have to find that out. The tools are in place let's see where it takes us.
No matter what Fields isn’t the future Bears QB. He doesn’t have what it takes to process the field quickly. It would be the same thing, if they draft Caleb Williams too. Who cares about his arm strength or how fast he is lol. Tyson is smart and can read the field quickly. They just need to build both lines up and they’ll start winning
Fields is not a leader. Listen to the locker room after TB got the game ball. Everyone was cheering. Fields has all the tools. He's a great puncher, but not a great boxer.
I think the Bears have some administrative practices that create a bland corporate product that hires corporate tools for coaches and gms. They need to hire real blue collar representatives that reflect the city of Chicago and not some cubicle douchebags from the suburbs.
