Gotta agree with others here, your pan wasn't hot enough to get a good sear on the meat. I'd also suggest using a neutral oil for the initial sear and then finishing with butter/herbs/garlic. Your butter will burn before it gets hot enough for a proper sear.
i think you need to sear the steak on all sides to give it a good crust, so it can be tender and crunchy at the same time and the crust will give it some extra flavoring
It looks delicious, as a standard smash burger 🍔!!! However, YOU ASSEMBLED IT INCORRECTLY!!!!!! THE LETTUCE ALWAYS GOES ON THE BOTTOM TO CATCH THE JUICES AND KEEP THE BOTTOM BUN INTACT AND NOT SOGGY. GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!!!!!!!🤨🤨🤨
I was trying to make this for my mom but I didn’t put enough butter in the pan so it started burning then when it was done I left a plate on the burner and it welded to the stove and I got in trouble 💀
is it dumb that when i heard "bring in" my mind immediately supplied "boys to the yard" as the next line? does this pasta sauce bring the boys to the yard?
I don’t really think it is too much olive oil, it might be that your oven isn’t getting hot enough. If you feel they are too soft at the end of baking, you can place them under the broiler for a minute or two to help crisp them up.
