Да, согласен с вами, это лучшая версия после альбомного оригинала. А все концертные версии самого Гилмора не сравнятся с этим исполнением двух прекрасных музыкантов.
This gig sounds out of this world, as a whole, in great part thanks to James Guthrie, the great sound engineer, but to me the very pinnacle of it is when Doyle plays the solo of Time. No one has ever come close.
If it wasn't for the genius and management of Waters; Gilmore would never be Gilmore. Most of Gilmore's solo albums are undervalued. Roger Waters also made the Amused to Death album with the late Jeff Beck, whose solos are unique.
Doyle Bramhall has a serious case of GUITARFACE. Quite a feat to replace the great Gilmour and although Snowy White does a good solo, they had a tough job ahead and here's why.....anyone who heard that lead by Gilmour remember it notes for notes musician or not. When you hear a solo by Gilmour, it is so melodic and well structure that you can play it note for note in your head...think of the solo on Money, Time, Breathe, Wish You Were Here and this one Comfortably Numb that's his trademark solo.
LOL 😆 I asked myself that same question not that long ago! HE is actually a lesser known, but very talented 🎸ist imo! I 1st discovered him thinking that it was an entire group of musicians. Now I know better, and have become a big fan of his (and Doyle also, who’s also a ‘new’ find for me)!
@@adventuresofdrewnnienhoneypot 👍 In that case, IIRC the complete name to look for just his music is called ‘Snowy White and the Blues Agency’. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
