I have been experiencing strange sensations that come on suddenly, starting from my feet and gradually spreading throughout my body up to my jaw. These sensations usually disappear within a few minutes but can sometimes last for up to 5 minutes. I often feel panicked, lightheaded, and worried, experiencing shivering and feeling cold. Can you please help me figure out what the cause could be?

Question. For the last 3 months I have had what feels like numbness/tingling or like a vibration in my neck, upper back, shoulder, arms, now seems to migrate to the left side, but i have this sensation in my head also. When moving it intensifies the feeling but it’s non stop. My skin also feels tight, like sunburned but doesn’t hurt. And when touching the area it intensifies what seems to feel like a numbing but I can feel when I prick myself. Had a small fiber neuropathy biopsy positive at ankle for length dependent. All of this came on sudden and is also causing some sharp nerve pains in feet and hands, rib, and some tingling that comes and goes in the hands and feet. Riding in a car and feeling vibration makes this worse. When it first started, I felt something like liquid run down the back of neck but nothing there. This is really taking a toll on me and I’m not able to enjoy life anymore, I’m convinced I’m not going to live long or I will eventually end up paralyzed. I’m also dizzy, off balance all the time. MRI clear. Any thoughts on whether this sounds like SFN as it is constant? Thank you, I’d love to hear back from you!

Calling TMS a cure is a bit of a stretch. But it can be a really effective treatment for treatment resistant neurodevelopmental/logical conditions since its personalized.

How of often is this treatment provided? Is this something that has to be done to manage long term depression? Or does it manage the root cause of depression on the just the symptoms? Will a patient become “addicted” a.k.a needing this to treat the symptoms of depression or will will successfully get to the root cause and help patients regulate their emotions?

I have something my neurologist is trying to figure out. I get flashes or numbness through my body but also includes my lips and tongue! When I move my eyes to the right and it advanced to just when moving my neck too bc your eyes move anyway. It’s so weird and scary. I’d love ideas from another professional

@endtimes9763
@endtimes9763 Месяц назад
@@CuddleTeddy1 Yes Insurance covers the majority of it about 80% and they are excellent with putting you on payment plans. My payment plan of $1200.00 is $125.00 a month for 12 months. I don't feel like a euphoria like you do with the Ketamine and I did not want that because of past substance abuse. But I can tell you I now feel wonderful I don't feel depressed to the point of laying in the bed all day unable to function. I chose early morning appointments as I wanted to start a pattern of getting up early as its 36 treatments and if you do something for 30 days consistently it becomes a habit. I looked at myself in the mirror the past week or so and I said "Is this treatment making me look younger!!!" I noticed my face looks healthy a glow and my big droopy nose has drastically lifted. I'm not sure what the change is from but I am more than sure this treatment has a lot to do with it. I can't afford it but looking at myself and the way I feel its definitely worth the sacrifice!!! I now feel amazing a normal not under the influence of anything amazing!!!

@@CuddleTeddy1 Make sure you tell them you've seen a therapist for at least 6 months to a year or else you'll have to do 8 weeks of therapy through a therapist as I did but when the therapist did the first session with me I scored 23 out of 25 for Major Depressive Disorder and I called them and told them I could not do 12 weeks of therapy I needed help now and they pushed it through and it was granted via my insurance company. I'm more than sure my insurance company looked at how many years I've suffered with and sought help with my depression (since 1995) and tried so many anti depressants in which none worked. Also you have to have tried at least 5 different anti depression medications. If you've had any substance abuse problems please do no do the ketamine, spravato treatments.

I have this numbness and tingling every single night on my right arm and when I have to hold something on my right arm for a long time or just not doing anything . When I start moving it would go away,but then I can’t sleep most nights coz I can’t sleep any other way around without pain,numbness and tingling but more of numbness and tingling.I have herniated discs on my c3-c4,c5-c6;c6-c7. Should I consider and see a neurologist again who told me I’m not special coz everyone experience herniated discs? This has been going on for 6 years now by the way,and I experienced weakness on my right leg at some point last year that went away through therapy and then I’ve experienced burning sensation throughout my body at one time two years ago but last week,I felt this weakness and tremors followed by pain the following day on my left arm.It felt like my left arm is not connected to my body.And it went back to normal after three days.

My MRI report says, "There is a 4×2×2.8 cm CSF signal intensity lesion along the posterior aspect of the medial portion left frontal lobe. This may represent an arachnoid cyst. There is periventriculat and deep white matter areas at T2 signal. This is nonspecific and may represent small vessel ischemic disease. I suffer many disabling symptoms. This guy doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about. It’s funny how most MDs think they know everything when they really know very little. We are spiritual beings having a physical experience on this earth. We have a spirit body and it does leave our body at death, and sometimes in sickness And many people have had near death experiences. And it’s not some reaction of the brain. Of course just discard this information because he doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about.

Check out ecstatic seizure auras obe’s and the anterior insula. Also check out a story about an old man who passed away while hooked up to an eeg. They got the okay to pull the plug and shortly before and after the heart stopped beating there was a spike in brainwaves (mainly gamma) in areas that are used for cognitive thinking and memory retrieval ect… I’ve had a couple of ecstatic seizures myself and I must say it was a crazy experience to say the least. Also I think there are beliefs that some prophets also had epilepsy.

@@TLEawareness You can all go right on thinking that NDE’s are BS and that the activity in the brain somehow produced the same exact experiences in millions of people all across the world regardless of their religious beliefs. Many had experiences with Jesus and God, describing an amazing agape love surrounding them. And you can call that “science” if you want to. The rest of us know that it’s just egotistical belief systems engrained in medical school. A stubborn unwillingness to accept that there might be another dimension, or that there might actually be a spirit or soul involved simply because you can’t see it or measure it. This attitude is more ignorant than the people of Columbus Day, who thought you would fall off the edge of the world if you took a ship out to the horizon. Worse than the people of Copernicus’s day who insisted that he was a heretic, since he even suggested that the sun was at the center of the solar system instead of the earth. The medical establishment will be the very last people who ever admit that we have souls and spirit bodies. It’s sad and just ill-informed.

I've had an OBE. I wasn't having a seizure or ever had a seizure or any kind of epilepsy. Not saying people shouldn't speak to their doctor but making it seem like the reason these things happen is because of that is a step too far. It's okay to say, "I don't know."

Tingling sensation of mouth (perioral region) can have many causes. Common causes include hyperventilation syndrome which is also part of anxiety spectrum disorders. But, there are other causes. We recommend making appointment with your local neurologist, or call us at 949-652-7301.

Fantastic video, i have been having change in feeling on my face and pain and tingling all over my body and worried it was MS. But the tingling is most likely positional from inflammation and I started taking a b vitamin that has helped with the paresthesia with my face. Pain probably from inflammation caused by diabetes.

@neurospabrain after treatment there is no relapse ( I’m talking about MDD and GAD ) ?
@neurospabrain
@neurospabrain 4 месяца назад
Studies show between 10-20% of patients experience relapse between 6-12 months after treatment with TMS. However, use of MRI navigation, multiple site targeting, and other advances can reduce rate of relapse. Also, those who experience relapse after TMS treatment have far less severity and can again reach treatment success with few 'booster' sessions.
