Original fantasy series with Skyrim VR (and random livestreams of other RPG games).
Storytelling role play - I create a character and drop them into the wonderful world that is Skyrim. What will happen to them? How will they develop as people? What amazing tales do I end up telling?
It started as an exercise in character development when I stalled in the writing of 'The Wounded Watchman', but has taken on a life of its own. Which will be your favourite?
Also, Skyrim livestreams every Sunday at 16:00 BST
The Cast: Pandora, Nord - Hope in Plain Sight (Complete) Lillia, Imperial - Song of the Phoenix, Echoes Glimmer, Breton - Glimmer of Magic Mist, Wood Elf - livestreams
Set up: VR headset - Quest 3 GPU - 4080 Super (3080 up to Glimmer episode 6) Recording/Streaming software - OBS Editing software - DaVinci Resolve Mod list - Minimalist Overhaul (Pandora and Lillia v 1.7, from Glimmer v 2.4 plus Sons of Skyrim)
I have over 500h on Survival in Skyrim and can't move past certain point because in conversation with Legate Something a quest related conversation option isn't appearing. I dealt with Alduin , but can't resolve Civil War because of it . All Creation Engine games are very buggy. Fallout 3,Fallout New Vegas , Fallout 4 , Morowind,Oblivion , Skyrim . Physics is joke in that engine. I don't understand how can anyone who isn't on Bethesda's payrol defend it . Are you? Because if you are it's pointless to discuss some things. I don't care if a developer enjoys working with some engine or not if they are unable to deliver a polished product. Or polished enough without gamebreaking bugs. Either there are generations of incompetent developers(programers in this case) or something is rotten within the core of that engine. Or both . Moders are irelevant in this story. Just because I mentioned UE5 doesn't mean I am emotianaly attached to Unreal Engine though you clearly are to Creation Engine or Bethesda. UE5 is a free to use engine and there has to be a reason to UEs popularity among developers throught decades. The reason those games are great is because of level designers, quest designers, various artists and sountracs . And yes the ability of throwing away objects and find them there, but that says nothing of how good/bad physics is . Have they ever heard of motion capture? They are 20 years behind in facial animation.
1. Resolve the civil war? I wasn't aware that was an option. You get a temporary reprieve for Alduin, but at some point there is the Battle for Whiterun. 2. I didn't say that the games were without bugs - I post quite a few as shorts - or shortcomings. I simply pointed out that different engines have strengths in different areas and that not having worked with either of the aforementioned engines in game development, I have no basis on which to form any relevant opinion. I have heard good and bad about both. I remain impartial.
@@StoriesFromSkyrim Battle for Whiterun is before Alduin . Before Sovengard. You weren't aware that you can kill General Tulius by siding with Stormclocks and killing Ulfric Stormcloak by siding with the Imperials?
I hope you do not streamt today so I have time to watch this. I was too tired. My mom said I slept for 12h with brief break when she woke me for my medicine. Since I am awake since 4am(3am UK Time) , I shall probably be very tired at 21h. But it's your decision.
Hey, no problem. I'm working on editing the next episode of Echoes today and was wondering whether I should stream or not later. You've made up my mind - no stream. Feel better soon, Games!
I'm so glad you like my videos 😊 There's something really special about Skyrim and if you're a Skyrim fan, there's nothing like actually 'being there'. It does need a bit of modification, though, for better immersion (for example, having a body!).
Oh shit. I couldn't even imagine you would stream for this long lol. I went to shower and then sleep and since I slept maybe 2-21/2 hours your stream was still going on 🤣 I entertained the idea of checking if you are still streaming , but considered it ridiculous so I decided not to. Jokes on me lol. Won't under estimate your streaming resolve next time. Missed some quite interesting parts I see . Will watch later. Or tommorow maybe , but will watch most certainly.
Ah, I've been on holiday for nearly a week so regained a bit of mental energy. Besides, it was quite a relaxed stream and I didn't have anything that desperately needed doing today as Saturday's Skyrim 'Echoes' episode is already and ready to drop (on time this week).
i feel your pain. while I haven't missed much more than 27 minute 35 seconds or so , I do know how if feels like to oversleep something you like. Her stream so early was kinda random so no wonder you were caught of guard lol
I'm replaying Origins (and 2 and Inquisition after lol) to refresh my brain on Dragon Age before Veilguard comes out, and I am looking forward to playing Awakening again so that I can turn my party into Grey Wardens too lol
LOL That's why I've been playing them. I'm currently DAI and I've been livestreaming them all as I've been playing them, on here and on Twitch. I never played the Trespasser dlc, and I would need for the story for Veilguard.
Disaster! At least the VOD is available, albeit not really the same as watching live. I finished Legacy and tonight I'll continue the main quest. Hopefully, I'll see you there.
@@jamesandrews5629 Origins needs a 4GB/LAA patch to work (if you look at the first of my DAO livestreams you'll see the terrible problems I had without it). Fortunately, the patch is relatively easy to get.
@predalien049 I'm from the UK, so the fourth of July means nothing (except for this year where we had a general election). Thank you for asking, I hope my American friends had a nice time.
Hello, my lady. :D Todays character: "Lesren, a female snow elf, aka falmer, who was an adviser to the snow prince. She was teleported in time all the way to the fourth era to a strange world called Loriel. She found the betrayed falmer and felt pity on them all and became their leader either way. Her desire is to reclaim skyrim what was rightfully theirs a long time ago. Lesren made a truce to Heren, an atmoran dragon priestess who desires to bring a second dragon war and rule over men and mer once again with a new world eater, Alrahviing. Lesren and Heren made a truce to be spared and separately rule their own ways. Lesren and the betrayed would wipe out the nords and other races resided in skyrim in bloodlust and rule it all at last."
Thank you for telling me about your story. I'm not sure that as a comment on my video is a perfect way as it might confuse people, but I am glad to hear about your work in progress. As for advice, may I recommend some good books? I talk about them in this blog post www.victoriajfaraday.com/post/end-of-year-thoughts and there are quite a few authors on RU-vid who talk about writing. @HelloFutureMe is a channel I wholeheartedly recommend and you may want to start there.
It might be a long tho. There will be a main protagonist named Eve bright. With the heroes Dragonborn, Serana, and of coarse the Nerevarine. To stop against Havoc the slaughterer from conjuring Molag bal into tamriel
Eve bright is a nordic girl with her sister, Mary bright. They were the survivors from helgen when Alduin came. There parents died (the father survives actually) and as days went by, the guards from whiterun had found them and jarl balgruuf took them in. And maelstrom the khajiit took care with them. In 22 years later, her friend is an argonian named Dan-ru who is the leader in blackreach and is obsessed with Dwemer stuff. in the story, there will be monsters like the Falmer, including the one named Irehis who is the only one with the arm tattoo of the symbol of auriel. And then a Draugr named Snorgan the strong.
Update to the DLC - solution found after a couple of minutes googling ... and it was to run a couple of files. Relevant portion from the thread I found copied here: Go to folder: ...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition edist Run files in following order: DAUServiceSetup_Steam.exe DAOU_UpdateAddinsXML_Steam.exe
@@StoriesFromSkyrim I did, very much so. J didn’t know the true depth and amount of stuff that the Legacy mod added, and seeing it along with Lillia’s character is an added bonus. Great work!
I'm finding that the beauty of the Legacy mod is that it directs you towards side quests that you may not have thought of doing. And that includes added mods - I was surprised when the first item was one from the Forgotten City mod. Doing the Dawnstar museum side quest after Labyrinthian was a natural progression that occurred to Lilly as she looked at the signpost!
@@StoriesFromSkyrim just another reason why I enjoy your playthroughs the most. You somehow make a character seem well thought out, yet spontaneous at the same time.
Thank you 😊, that means a lot. It is all character based, as you say. I think it's quite a dynamic process; the character driving the story and her experiences shaping her character. Lilly was tough to roleplay at the beginning because there wasn't much to her. It's got easier as she's developed a bit of depth. There's no script, there can't be, of course. And it's 'first takes' unless I did something stupid and got Lydia killed. Though, if I have an idea, I may try to nudge Lilly into a particular situation - but it never does go quite as I think it will.
