Politics is our power. Being political and winning elections is the point. Trying to do anything good without picking a side politically is like driving a car with your foot on the gas and the brake. In the USA 98% of all elections are won by Republicans or Democrats. So pick a side and start winning. When people say they don't like politics, I ask them if they prefer war. Politics is a miracle. It allows us to pass laws that protect people and the planet. It allows us to solve our differences without killing each other. Politics is the center of all of it. Asking a speaker of this magnitude not to be political is ridiculous.
