It’s good if u target them either in calm conditions and gig for them. But if ur looking for them while on kayak or boat. We have a few spots that have plenty of them
Thanks for sharing the location, I've been looking for a place like this. I usually go to the jetties but this place seems more my type. I'm a catch-and-release fisherman and hope people don't mind if I go there for fun.
Nice catch, beautiul reds. Best way to fry fish: first salt and pepper fish, (use 3 different bowls for next step), (dredge) lightly coat fish in all purpose flour, then pass through egg wash (2-3 beaten eggs with splash of milk), lastly coat fish with either panko, regular bread crumbs or cornmeal. Fry fish in 350-375 F degree oil for about 6 minutes and lightly salt them when you take them out. Now to figure out your secret fishing spot 🤔😁.
@seffishing BTW you were right about the other jigheads being too Bulky. They were affecting the durability of the lures. I went to Gordons and stocked up on the SEF Jigs and I'm probably catching double or triple the amount of fish before I need to switch the lure.
😂😂😂 not bad for a first fish fry bro but next time put eggs in a bowl mix em up like if your making omelettes then individually dip the fish the on a separate bowl have your breading and bread them individually lastly I’m pretty sure you know the amount of oil to use 😂😂😂😂😂
Intro is a work of art. SEF always making Tx anglers proud man. BTW just caught my PB snook on the cosmo. I don't think I'll be buying any other lures other than SEF for a minute.
@seffishing I've only ever caught 3 snooks. This one was 22.5. It was my first time trying out your lures bro. I used to be stubborn about only using live shrimp but since I've started using artificial I've been catching keeper trouts every time I go.
Live shrimp is always fun. But too many trash fish are caught. Lure is where it’s at for game fish. Congrats bro! And thank u for the support. With this high heat, using the smaller sef lures is key also.
No bs bro I've tried Texas Made, Down South, Casting by Faith, Zman, and a bunch of other brands but nothing has been as consistent for me as the smaller profile cosmo that you make.
Yeah sef you should do some wade fishing I been wading twice a week for about 2 months now there at the island north side of the convention center is really good and behind the IBC bank
