"Not materialistic, he just wanted the music to be there for the people..." Sadly, the same cannot be said for Rod Stewart, no wonder they had a falling out. RIP Ronnie Lane.
Thank You Woody for signing my Rod Stewart Lp and using my RW and Chuck Berry button as a pick during Anazing Grace THEN allowing me on the Canoer to talk breifly and get a glissy photo autographed in 1987 Bo Diddley Gunslingers tour!!! Rod you were great at Bethel Sept 1' 23
Such a shame that the beautiful memory of Ronnie Lane is mixed on the same program with this fascist thug, who openly called for the assassination of writer Salman Rushdie, on the BBC, and who to this day, praises the murderous regime that took power in Iran in the 1979 communist-backed coup. Notice the BBC even lets the guy trash talk Ronnie Lane’s band, calling them a bunch of drunkard (“lotto”). I would say BBC should be ashamed, but of course they are shameless.
Fair play to the bloke 👍The nights me and the lads on the Dance floors had ,when the first note's of Ant Music started, My mate went way over the top 🤦♂We all joined in 🤣🤣
@@lordevalve9190 to lordevalve9190 I mentioned to say "Ronnie's sporting a Guild. The post is three months old I had not reviewed it but I think what I meant was is that he is "sporting" a Guild guitar. I am a guild guitar enthusiast.
@@lordevalve9190 yes. I had reviewed the video again. I guess I had kind of was in question then but now I do realize the large headstock in relation to the emblem. Guild's emblem was always one size and it seemed large in this case. The Zemaitis there's a guitar of a different player. One of major notoriety though all the same. No?
