"Starry: The posthumous release of a forgotten masterpiece from legendary bball frag vid director RAINMAN. 10/10 the must-see film of this holiday season." - Roger Ebert
rainman I understand, but it's still sad :( if I could just rally my friends together, a new wave of ballers could arise (since most are solly mains anyway), which would be pretty tight. The issue is that none of them want to do it smh... I don't even understand why bballing has always been so niche, I feel like it's the perfect way to improve DM (for those wanting to practice the normal game), the perfect scenario to land sick airshits without anyone getting mad (it's just bball after all), everything. Perhaps some popular sfm could do the trick, like with jump academy...
Too much bloom. Use default crosshair. Don't use viewmodel_fov 90 on the original (looks retarded tbh) Nice smooths, thought was shaky at some moments Other than that the Video Quality is nice
+fr3fou I think i still have some refining to do in learning magic looks. Others have told me differently about the crosshair so ill think about it. But for now, ill chalk it up to personal preference. I'm not entirely sure how the viewmodel fov makes the weapon look bad. I was provided with pov demos, no stv's. I think some shakiness is inevitable but I'll take another look at future projects. Thanks.
+FORTYSEVEN 2016 I think it's mostly true w/ gullywash. It was a lot worse before but it sucks when I have to individually cc every clip. Especially when magic looks doesnt show the actual colors that are in the project.
+rainman Editing was nice and clean, frags were good. A few things to think about though... The crosshair is not necessary and it was kinda distracting. Color correction was a bit bright at times, and too dark on other times. You could also vary a bit between the editing styles on the clips, there was pretty much only few slow-mos and a couple of shots from free camera. You could try to be more creative, for example, in 3:33 when he was going for the spawn camp, you could have shown a scene from thirdperson when he's jumping towards the spawn and then a scene from inside the spawn when the demo spawned etc. Also you could have hyped up more the insane airshots, like in 4:00 on snakewater middle. In addition, the music did pretty much nothing for me, it was nice it was there but you could have gone with another choice, maybe one which would be more up-beat and therefore you could use it to hype up the shots a bit more. However, I liked it and hope you keep making these. :)
