I love daschunds! I checked the local rescue daschund agency & was shocked to see so many looking for homes! I wish people would stop breeding & focus on spaying/neutering their pets.
Oh I'm so sorry you lost your baby puppy and no matter how big your dog does get , they are your baby puppy always & very much part of the family members.
I had a mother and a daughter, they're both in heaven, now I have my third and I love her just as much, we have a very strong bond. I love dachshunds, they're so smart, gentle and also sharp when necessary, they're adorable and I respect them deeply! 😊
Dachshunds are just simply the BEST!! I've had dachshunds for over 30+ years, and they still have my heart! They make great pets for both with a family with kids, or a pet for someone single! They're just so cute!! And they're the type of dog that is adorable as a puppy (of course), and are still so cute as adults! ❤
Huge personalities in a ridiculously appealing package. Dachshunds may be small, but they were bred to be muscular and serious hunters of badgers, rabbits, and other burrowing game. Also of snacks - and can hear the sound of a cellophane wrapper from anywhere in the house.
Mine has arthritis at the base of his tail. All that intense wagging he did in his youth. Barking in his sleep at the moment. Smart little stinker. Can't believe the wisdom inside that head.
I had 3 doxies, two black and tan, and a red one. The oldest, Corky lived 6 months shy away from being 20 years of age. The oldest dachshund in Guinness Record lived for 22 years.❤️
Iam so sorry. I've had 10 dachies. Two now. Will be my last. I would grieve for them when they pasted away then get another. I can tell you the name of everyone I had and stories of each one. If I could wave a magic wand and bring them all back I would in a second. Adored everyone of them. God bless you.
