Khadyjah Tandia When I applied for Central Housing freshman dorms, the time to set up was around April 5th-April 9th in 2018 ( I know the dates may have changed ). Students I know who wanted housing after that, were put on a waitlist just Incase they had more rooms available or if another student cancelled their room. The faster you apply, even after the deadline the better chance you’ll have even on the waitlist.
@@Mattison.mp4 Thank you! The housing applications opened in February this year and the choices are supposed to come out soon but I am afraid to put in my deposit because I don't want to stay somewhere that I don't want to stay.
Khadyjah Tandia Call University Housing to see if they’ll have anymore room. Due to the Pandemic things are still uncertain about Fall 2020, but they should have more of a good direction on what to do next. Good Luck in the Fall !
Yes, you can get your bed lofted to where you would have room to put a desk under your bed. But I suggest getting ahold of maintenance (ask an RA if they have seen anyone from maintanence around or make a maintenance request online ) as soon as you move in because they may run out of supplies to loft your bed. Or if you do not want your bed that high then you could purchase bed risers to elevate your bed a little.
I actually have a question about the plug ins. I saw on the website that we can't have extension cords, so how many plug ins are in the room? (I'm mainly talking about the ones on your side)
Aijah Cleveland On my side of the room it had two plug ins and each plug in has room for two things to be plugged in. One is underneath the desk and the other is underneath the bed. And the same is on the opposite side of the room.

Great video!! I have to attend the summer success program and I was wondering if I'm only allowed to apply Piedmont North dorms? or can I apply for other dorms?
Sarah Jackson Thank you so much ! And for summer success they automatically assign you to Piedmont Central dorms. But you can apply for Piedmont North dorms for Fall 2019.
Nice dorm tour , love it ! But I have a question . I heard that you aren’t allowed to have guest over at your dorm if they don’t attend GSU. Is that true ?
DKM Thank you ! Also, If you’re apart of the summer success program for freshman in the summer you can’t have anyone over. But if it’s a regular school year you can have anyone over whether they go to GSU or not.
I loved this video. Could you please do more college videos about Georgia State University? I’m a senior in high school and this is the college I plan to go to and there aren’t a lot a good videos about it.
