The Video Bible Dictionary is an ambitious project to film items, objects and places mentioned in the Bible which will be collated into a single resource (a dictionary of sorts) to help people understand and read the Bible; basically what the things and places in the Bible really look like.
The Video Bible Dictionary is part of a larger project to provide a resource to support the local church around the world as they teach and share Jesus with those who have yet to hear about Him.
This project is being produced by SRV in partnership with Wycliffe Bible Translators and the ETEN Innovation Lab (short for ‘Every Tribe Every Nation’).

I want to say a most sincere thank you for the great work on this channel. As a visual learner myself, this is perfect for me to understand the things that made up everyday life in Canaan, especially because the videos are so short. Keep it going!
No idea, but having spend some time with Berber nomads, I'd hesitate a guess that it was one of those things which was traded.. There's nothing in the Bible (as far as I know) to say where the oil came from however, so this is just speculation.. :)
These videos would be a whole lot better with actual bible quotes and less doctrine. Tehillim (Psalms) 118:22-23 TS2009 [22] The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief corner-stone. [23] This was from יהוה, It is marvellous in our eyes. This quote was originally dealing with king david. And eventually is related to his descendant, the Messiah Yeshua!
I had never thought of esau's decision like that before. I used to just think he was foolish, but now I see why it was more than that. it was more literally careless than foolish. very interesting.
This is amazing! I've struggled finding a way to think myself into a culture so different from mine. I love this attempt and will follow you closely. Thank you very much!
Awesome voice over and information! I only wish the camera would have shown the ceiling and walls better and that the guy in the shot wasn't looking like he was in a hurry or didn't want to be there. Him pointing at the ceiling and walls and even some light exploring or looking around would do better. I like that he's in the video for cave size reference to a human! Please don't take my critique the wrong way. I love all these videos! Thank you so much and Jesus loves you all!
Thank you for this video. The stick you picture has been cut at the end for some reason. Is it so that it has multiple points of contact? Explaining this in the narration might be helpful to the viewer to better understand your video.
I really like the narration you have in the video. It is useful. The video itself, though, doesn’t illustrate the narration. Again, I think you guys have a great concept with tons of potential and I am grateful for your efforts.
I totally agree with David. I think you guys have a great idea here with lots of potential. Not only showing the fork, but also seeing it being used the way we see it in scripture (and the scripture you presented in the video) would be most beneficial for those watching. Thanks so much🙂
Sir, you have to good to explain but here is no any brunch the Bible was said. The other way is that here is no flower symbol. Sorry I didn't find any syntome. 😊
Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, a residential complex, a kilometer from Qumran. It was originally a palace for Hasmonean royalty. It was called the 'Queen's House. Because animals were also stabled there, it was called the 'Manger'.
I love your channel. Please don’t stop publishing videos. Your content is really helping me visualise the Holy Bible. God bless you and all the hard work.
I think this is going to be a great learning channel to show people the Bible dictionary come to life! We never stop learning with OUR BEAUTIFUL KING 👑 YESHUA 🙌 ALLELUIA 🙌 TO ABBA BE THE GLORY, SELAH AND AMEN😇🐫🌴🐪 💟 🦋💜🌈
