I tried doing business with this company. It was a disaster. The bike arrived damaged and was immediately returned. Trying to contact anyone at Fabulous is like trying to call the White House: Good luck getting an answer. Messages and emails are ignored or answered after weeks of waiting. The owner makes promises that are never kept and cannot be relied upon and delayed issuing a refund until he had no choice because VISA was after him. Don't say you weren't warned. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The ebike world is in a hard spot right now. tons of manufacturers from garage guys to Ford motor company. Everybody has good and bad experiences. I have been to these guys shop in Montreal and they were cool but still getting into the market and learning how to handle the business, in my opinion. I'm sorry for your trouble but hope you can get them to come around and do right by a customer. Good Luck

This isn't his first business and I'm not surprised his previous efforts were failures. He and his brother might seem 'cool' but are not honest, nor reliable. I understand that you have to play nice with him so he'll send you another free bike, but I don't have to be anything but honest about him. His chaotic, confusing, contradictory and misleading website has links for 'WARRANTY', 'SHIPPING & RETURNS', and TERMS OF SALES, but NONE of those links work, despite my emailing him at LEAST three times asking him to fix the links. If you purchase a bike from him, it has NO WARRANTY other than what he agrees to. NONE. ZIP. ZILCH. NADA. That isn't the result of an industry in flux, it's the sign of a con-man. And the Canadian government website that lists corporations shows his status as "DISSOLUTION PENDING". Looks like another failed business for Lampro.

He did everything to delay a refund, lied, made promises he never keeps. He can't even get the name of his company straight: is it Fabulous or Furious? Would like to share my riding comparison between Velotric Fold 1 and one of its cheaper major competitors like Ride1Up Portola. Both ebikes I purchased very recently and pedal them about 80 mi each before providing w/ this info. Once I switched Velotric F1 to class 3 e-bike (allowing 28mph when pedal-assisting) most importantly than the max speed is actually how the torque power changed successfully for every PAS level. What happened is described very briefly - every one PAS level even otherwise the not noticeable PAS 1 or 2 increased its power when pedaling, and became so noticeable that I was able to pedal variety of terrains, including very short but steep uphills only using Velotric F1 PAS 1, incomparable advantage over Portola. Later even switched to Class 3 from Class 2 e-bike operation is forcing me going up steep hills especially to switch to PAS4 or 5 in order pedaling to get over the hill without much effort. The same observation is valid comparing Velotric F1 with other cheaper competitors like Aipas A2 and Lectruc XP 3.0 step-thru e-bikes. Being able to pedal practically everywhere without the need to switch to higher more-battery consuming PAS level or throttle - the outcome pedaling and saving more battery from discharge longer than Portola, Aipas A2 and Lectric XP step-thru.
I didn’t watch the whole video; but I 💯agree about complexity; I sold off my emtb for xc hardtail mtb bike. It’s lighter and minimal fuss; and I know I can ride it Sedona area; emtb’s not allowed on trials there.
These "speed" bikes are bullshit and dangerous. The frames, tires, breaks and safety features stink at best. They are illegal for road use in every country because they are dangerous. In the USA there is not one state where they can be used on the road. The manufactures should be sued for every accident where one is involved as the rider/ owner will be sued.
Its an ongoing debate but I'm sure the system will work out some compromises for safety and rider responsibility. Thanks for taking the time to comment as it shows you care.
I hear ya! But after a lot of testing and research we found, to get value you have to go a little farther up the food chain to get real bang for your buck but its not everybody's choice, its just our opinion. But as always, you often get what you pay for.
Thanks for comment. We like the foldable too! Although some find them cumbersome to put in vehicle and often a little heavy for some. Very convenient too.
I ride a radwagon 4 with 2 grandchilren or heavily loaded with groceries. Works very well. Last week I did just over 120 km round trip for a medical appointment.
We will do some trike reviews but preliminary research as found trikes are often a bit too cumbersome for Seniors and a lot of people don't consider them true bikes. They are, on paper, much safer and stable than a regular bike so we will find out more about them thx for the mention.
Unfortunately these are the bikes that are fueling some of the bans that they are trying to enforce . I’m for EBikes but we all know that some of the people buying these are not going to follow the rules and it only takes a couple of incidents to give them an excuse to blame the Ebike community. Parents should be cautious about buying these types of bikes for their kids. I know there is age limits on some of these but parents need to not give in to their kids. Happy trails to everyone.
I totally agree. I own a 350wat Classica Ebike and its more than enough for me to get exercise and go up the hills. A lot of County's like Canada do have a 500watt limit (Canada) and municipalities do regulate walking paths and highways but a bike is a bike and a motorcycle is a motorcycle and its hard for common sense or common courtesy to prevail so regs are needed.
You would have to check specs on specific bikes. Amazingly a lot of companies do not include the weight of their bikes in specs but I know on average most weigh at least 50lbs including battery and larger motors.

Well in Canada there is Fabulous ebikes with dual motors and maximum wattage. That should be man enough for'ya! Cannondale Mottera 4 is mountain ebike that has got good reviews for the adventurous guy!
65 year-old biker here. Apart from commuting 32 km to and from work as often as I can, I enjoy riding easy trails. I therefore upgraded my acoustic cross-country bike for a Trek Powerfly FS4. I did not want a bike with a throttle as I just wanted assistance to pedal, and the Trek with its mid-mounted torque sensor Bosch motor has been a life-changer. There is no hill that I cannot pedal up and I am still getting an excellent cardio workout. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
I am 68 and love my Magicycles. I own the Ocelot Pro and the Jaguarundi. I’ve tried many others, but these are always my choice… so powerful and trustworthy.
Not available in this model and price range. Lots of bike hackers change their bikes to suit but you ahve to be really knowledge about bikes and mechanics
Can you replace / rebuild these batteries once they die ? Or are you at Cannondale's mercy ? (which of course would not provide batteries later if they want to sell new bikes).
you can only get certified approved Cannondale batteries to maintain any warranty but after market battery's that meet specs can be used. if your handy with soldering and battery know how the can be rebuilt.
Your review is missing all the numbers. You tell us the bike is heavy but never give us the weight, you tell us it has a big battery but never tell how big it is, you tell us it has a long range but never tell us what it is. Please give us the facts and numbers and not just your opinion.

nice bike, but integration level is still behind Specialized, and non-removable battery is a BIG NO. Levo FTW (especially with Cascade long travel link)
With or without assist….? Are you nuts? You can peddle it without assist of course but it’s tough, nothing like a manual it’s heavy and there’s reseistance a manual doesn’t have. Non removal battery but I never had an issue with that, a second battery is too big and heavy to carry for half a day for me anyway ….. but the rise is a great bike, lighter more poppy than a full power and you work without getting tired it’s very rewarding. 2 years ownership
