lost me in the end, Isayama had 10 years to write the story. AoT started as a survival horror show, and ended up being a typical Antiwar post-modern drama where there are no good guys or bad guys and as it grew larger it lost momentum and the characters we loved also lost screen time in favor of other secondary characters that were not particularly charismatic or interesting or powerful, such as Yelena, the black guy( I can´t write his name) and the fucking kids, I feel that in the end the writer was just trying to lecture me about life and some points, while validad, did not land well. My Gf and friends went from Obssesed about AoT to disappointed to just..... Meh. In the end, I have to say thanks for the ride it was super fun the first 3 seasons. the rest where just a pain to watch after Eren kills the warhammer.
I think a lot of what you disliked about the show was honestly what made me absolutely love season 4 and the ending. It wasn’t perfect but such a beautiful and tragic ending to an amazing story.
You wanted a generic action anime without wanting to explore any deeper themes. The way the story played out was the plan from the beginning, all of the groundwork was being laid from the word go. AOT is one of the most layered, thought out, well developed pieces of fiction ever created. It isn’t quite perfect but these criticisms just seem shallow to me.
The fact you like stories with just good guys and bad guys show how you don't deserved such a story. If you just want actions without much more, just go watch marvels. SNK is more than an idiot and commercial story that's all. It's not here to make pleasure, it's here to ask question about how you see the world.
I never really watched anime until 2023 then this year and after 6 years of waiting i finally watched Aot in late april and early may and for right now it is the best anime I’ve watched
Season 1: the fuck is a titan Season 2: eren youre a cool titan i hope you dont get kidnapped Season 3 part 1: EREN GOT KIDNAPPED (KENNYYY) season 3 part 2: wait where is burritohold? Season 4 part 1: lets just make this a war anime Season 4 part 2: imagine being a slave for 2013 years😭 Season 4 part 3: No Words.
first (and only) anime ive ever seen. quite literally perfect in my eyes. everyone deserves a chance to watch aot in their lives. genuinely as close to perfection as entertainment can get. thank you aot.
It‘s the first and only Anime you‘ve watched? Then you have nothing to compare it to and thus, your opinion is invalid. There are shorter Anime with better-written Characters and Plot out there. AoT is just flashy fight scenes and forced drama; you can see that pretty much everywhere.
@@ericcartman7420 idk bro i think you got the bad opinion, ive watched a few animes now and aot is still the best. your just salty about the ending but i think they ended it great. and also he said "genuinely as close to perfection as entertainment can get" so not just anime. what animes do you see as better?
I think that the problem is not that he is weak, it's that he doesn't really try that hard to become stronger. It's frustrating seeing mark lose again and again and never see him training or pushing himself to become stronger. Like, in season 2 he knows the viltrumites are planing on invading earth eventually, he knows he will need to fight them and yet he spends all his time worrying about f*cking collage and his stupid relationship. My guy, aliens are planning on invading your planet and slaving your people. Go fight stronger opponents. Stop holding back. Do something, anything...
People complain that invincible is too weak when he fights enemies or viltrumites, But when he finally beats Conquest, people in the comment section will be screaming at how a 17yr old shouldn’t be able to defeat a 10,000yr old viltrumite
he's basically a two month old baby in viltrumite years, and also he has the worst match ups. he's fighting level 100 enemies (namely the viltrumites; the thraxans were his first enemies, and he had just gotten his powers, so i don't count them. battle beast is battle beast. then there's his dad. and angstrom was holding his family hostage so mark couldn't do much) while being level 10 oh and he's always holding back lol
He not holding back he's just trash let's say he was holding back you don't have to let them toss you like a 🥗 just knock them should call him vulnerable at this point cause we know he gone get beat.
@DwaineEKSephigon his dad called him out on it, yes some of the viltrumites are significantly more powerful than him but he can go toe to toe with some
Viltrumites live for thousands of years. Mark is 18. The fact he's even recognised as worthy while basically being the human equivalent of a 2 year old to them is mad impressive.
I think it’s because he’s human. I noticed in a lot of fiction when you combine a human with some sort of super race the child is always way stronger than the parents.
@@dtczyk8976 That’s kinda the case. I think I heard somewhere that what Mark has over Viltrumites is the fact that, as he was raised like a human, he has things like rage and adrenaline. Things that truly motivate him to fight back. So technically it has nothing to do with him physically being part human, which doesn’t matter anyway since he’s constantly becoming more Viltrumite then human everyday.
@@dtczyk8976 SPOILER It's because Mark is part of the royal bloodline. Human DNA is so close to viltrumite DNA that he's basically pure. But he's in the royal bloodline
