Hi, My name is Anurak. I'm a passionate succulent grower in Perth, Western Australia. I've been growing and making succulent arrangements since 2015. It was an obsession that turned into Business name's Charming Succulents. With many years of experience in growing and making many beautiful succulent designs, I'm here to share with you the ideas and knowledge. And I hope I can inspire you with my beautiful videos.
Those bird cages would look amazing lined with moss at the bottom to hold soil and directly planted. Putting moss all around the soil so you can't see it. I don't have any cages yet but ill grab them when I find the kind I like. Beautiful plants you have! ❤
I'm very inspired by your work and I'm very passionate about succulents. They're are the cutest plants one can have. I would like to do something like you here in India. Can you please guide me gow to start like which succulent varieties are good for beginner business, etc. Do you geow your own succulents ir source them?😊
Thank you so much for your kind words. Being in different countries, I’m not sure I can recommend the varieties that will grow well in your climate. I would recommend joining succulents facebook group in your area that grow and share knowledge, usually they have succulents for sale too, you then can start your own collection and propagate them, after a year you will have plenty you can sell them. I grow and propagate my own and make arrangements to sell.
@@charmingsucculents Oh okay, thanks a lot for the guidance. How much min area would be required to propagate succulents for selling after a year. I just have a small east facing balcony.
It’s string of beads/pearls. It looks purplish because it was stressed in full sun. Thank you for asking, made me look up the name and found ID for one of my sedum that I had no ID for it.
Thank you so much for your beautiful comment😃🙏 I think succulents look great in a lot of things, especially shells, also on wood too. Have a lovely day 😊
I purposely looked for your videos because I love the way you "speckle" your posts. I've never seen the wisteria painted ones. They are gorgeous! May I ask - what is your reason for sealing the insides of the pot? I'm sure you've thought this thru so I wanted to ask. Thanks for sharing your talent for painting pots and for growing your gorgeous succulents!
Thank you so much. ☺️ Terracotta pot is porous. I seal inside to prevent the moisture seeping through the inside wall of the pot to outside and that can make the paint peel off. Thank you for supporting my channel, I will keep more content coming.😊
Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden and arrangements. I love all of your creations, they’re very colorful, different shapes and varieties. I hope to see more of your videos, greeting from USA.
Hi, I use seaweed solution to fertilise for healthy growth, also use ‘Osmocote controlled release fertiliser for cacti &succulrnts’ to add in the soil mix. The colours usually extra vibrant during cold winter months due to cold stress. Also I keep them in full sun(sunlight makes them maintain their colours).
How do you do your pots you said unsucculent that you make your own pots and decorate them could you please oh please do a video on that? Thank you so much
Hi, these pots are ceramics, made out of earthenware clay, glazed and fired in the kiln, I will definitely do video on these when I make them next time.
Thank you so much ☺️, I got blue bird from Lavida trading , the others from All Season Homewares. They are wholesale suppliers, for individual purchases these usually available in homeware stores in gardening/pots section.
