I found this move on day 2 of early access. Imo I don't think its a glitch or should be removed, being able to turn your body the other way is fair and legit. The speed boost you get from it should be nerfed though.
I watched this video a couple days ago this build is my favourite out of any I played it’s my most played build it’s very fast to and has reach and picks off passes it’s like a great build offensive as well great all around happy I watched this to get that build deserves a sub
I find even in threes I’m still able to throw my body around as a defensive dman. I love that stick checking feels a lot better this year and has more control
Great vid. Can’t wait to see skating and shot styles. Also, are you able to put out any skating tips? Such as maybe using L2 moves or some speed boosts while cutting/skating? Thanks 🙏
I disagree about hitting. I've always run a bigger player build. My 6'4 Grinder Center build has been laying people out. They also made a change to Reverse hitting where you don't lose momentum after the collision, almost seems like you get a speed boost in fact. Its really strong. I think this year weight plays a bigger factor in hitting than it has the last few games. So while this 160 build will probably struggle to bump and knock people over, I don't think its fair to say that hitting isn't effective this year
I think the problem is that you won't be hitting anyone this year as a 6'0" 160 PMD. With the slower paced gameplay, you might be able to be more impactful utilizing bigger builds. Something like a 6'2" 190 or maybe even bigger. I went over the top with it trying it out as a 6'4" 220 DefDman and could hit and bump without issues. Defenseman will have to play less aggressive this year from what I have seen so far or get burned.
Just wonderin if you have a reason why you chose 6'0 instead of 6'1 seeing you keep speed and accell at 94. That's a solid build though, very similar to one I have been using. The only difference in the build I have been using is instead of shutdown, I have on in reverse. Great vid! You earned another sub
For the past two years I’ve really found the main thing between 6’0 and 6’1 being my agility on the ice. I know stat wise it doesn’t make a difference I just feel more agile being 6’0 and it never has negatively affected me. Thank you for the support!
Im having a hard time keeping the front of the net clear. Tieing them up, stick lifts arent really working and checking them to clear them out has been getting me penalties. Its early in the year and im just trying to a better idea on whzt is working.
I noticed last night while trying to get in front of a big tipper, we animated, and it looked like it was almost a boxout. Wasnt trying to tie up or anything. So maybe we don’t have to try and tie it will also naturally do it to?
This not a glitch you can do that in the previous years but the AI would learn block it in franchise. Once in a while you could do on low rated goalies.
