I find that I am highly dependent on the available graphics I can find on my authoring tool or graphic subscitpions. and this is the most time consuming one, because of colors, theme, feel etc.
Too long, same visuals, only audio that I heard, makes me tired to hear after 2 minutes. Content should be like more visual( good example slides) needed to explain the content.

This is the worst way to throw up a video. It’s a webinar (that would have bored me to tears) so he keeps asking the audience to interact and saying “I’ll tell you my ideas a bit later on….” Could be edited into a 5 minute educational video. Shame.

The biggest challenge I find with the subject matter experts is getting them to focus on the fact it's a different delivery method. I've found work around to help, but there's definitely a set way of thinking about their content. If it was a workshop or webinar it can end up being pushed that way. I created a workbooks as a spreadsheet to combat this. This was an interesting video. Appreciate you sharing it. I post about a lot about eLearning also, your video is food for thought.
Great video! I love it! I have a question too. I'm from Brazil and my english is not that good, but i'll try my best to explain. I have a video in my course and, in order to progress, the user must watch all the media to advance. And that's working really fine. However, when the user returns to that video screen, he/she needs to watch the role video again to go to the next slide. Is there a way to leave this slide unblocked once the user has already seen the video one time? Do i need a trigger for that? Thank you very for the excellent material.
In case you still need an answer for this, every slide has a property that determines what to do when revisiting. The three options are “automatically decide”, “reset to initial state” and “resume saved state”. These settings can be accessed by clicking on the gear icon in the bottom right of the screen.

Great information regarding military clients. I have been dealing with this on a daily basis for 3 years. Content overload and lots of push back, minimal interactivity, too.
I'm going to say this with my heart...you are the ONLY person that has shown this process on RU-vid, or the internet...I have looked for days and was very frustrated that Storyline does not have tutorials on how to do this. You are a lifesaver. I have been trying to figure this process out for 3 days now. Here is a huge "AIR HUG" for you. I have subscribed/Liked this video. Truly grateful!
