Very little about double tongue and triple tongue? And this is supposed to be a "masterclass"? No mentioning of doodle tongue at all? And this is supposed to be a "masterclass"? About the difference between "ta" and "da": The difference is NOT the position of the tongue. You can say both "ta" and "da" with the tongue starting from your teeth and starting from above the teeth. The difference between "ta" and "da" is about how much air pressure is built up before you release the air pressure. In a "masterclass" you should know the difference between "ta" and "da".

Please note that in the English language, "tree" and "three" are two different words that sound differently. "One, two, tree" refers to two numbers and a big plant. "Thongue" is not a word, though. You probably mean "tongue".

The instrument is a euphonium, not a tuba. The Norwegian woman in the video is simply brilliant.

Bravo!!! This is the best interpretation I've ever heard of this on a wind instrument - so many wonderful ideas to contemplate that make these pieces much more accessible when it comes to finding where to breathe - playing one of these full suites was a lifetime goal for me, and after hearing Bente's ideas, I think I have a good shot at it one day - oh, and her "Alene" album has quickly become one of my favorites.

Boreal forests, wilderness, rambling snow caves above a stream. This piece conjures up zones where the listener must confront being alone. Lovely with what Yeats called "a terrible beauty." This piece and "Arv" are my favorite tracks from her album ALENE.
