I had to watch this tonight. I needed to see Tom Bliese again. Tom recruited me to then Mankato State University in 1988 as an MFA student. Tom has been a mentor and a friend ever since. I was unprepared for his passing last week. I had never even considered a world without Tom Bliese. Last March at USITT in St Louis, I spent more time with Tom than I had in previous years. We had a very nice exchange. In my academic career, I often texted him pictures of my work, and asked his advice about many things. He was always willing to respond and continue mentoring me. I am glad my last time seeing Tom was so good. I miss you Tom. Rest in Peace.
