Hi Sam! Would you say it is easy to move to the mainline from Encore? And do the mainline and Encore have a big difference In terms of money? Thank you in advance! 😊😊
@@miaoh3089 it’s not easy to move to mainline from encore, if u want work at mainline apply there instead! In terms of money it all depends on your working style but in the long run mainline has a bigger pay progression
@@sincerelysammy thank you!! I got interviews with Encore but not the mainline 🫠… i was debating myself… should i start first at Encore or apply again?… hmm i still do not know what to do haha
@@miaoh3089 if u wanna flow to mainline from encore you have to be employed for minimum amount of time (back when I was there they told us it was 18 months!) The working conditions haven’t been great the past recent years at Encore but if want to get ur foot in the door then you should go for it!
You are making amazing video content. I just watched the video and your video quality is appreciable. I am so impressed by your content, I was analyzing your channel and noticed that You are struggling with video views and ranking. May I share some tips for achieving your goals?
Hi! I don’t quite understand your question, are you asking if you need training prior to the interview? Your airline will give you specific training, you really just need customer service experience and love working with people :)
I have a similar bag (not from uniqlo), and oh my I love it, it's so convenient! I bought it when I was going to a concert in a different city and I must say it was a lifesaver :)) Also these charms are adorable!
@@sincerelysammy thank you so much for answering I’m glad I’m also taking the 2 year program this upcoming September and I’d also like to know how many times a week did u attend school during the first year ?
this is awesome! i'll be doing my training on June 27 in Calgary, YEG base. Could you describe how your very first flight was? i was also wondering how one can apply to work on the 787 planes? Thanks! I enjoy watching your videos <3
Woohoo, how exciting! My very first flight 6 years ago was nerve wracking, being on the line in real life VS what you learn in training are two different experiences 😅 Luckily we used to do follow-up flights where a mentor follows you and the other flight attendant for 5 days to make sure you have a smooth transition and that helped a lot (this was at Encore though) for mainline, tbh I felt so intimidated and didn't have a good first pairing, some people on my crew weren't welcoming and that's the unfortunate reality.. but there are amazing people out there so don't let a few sour apples ruin your experience! In regards to 787 training, I believe only YYC base new hires gets dual trained from the get go, every one else is based on seniority when they have classes that open up. I don't even think the 87s fly out of YEG 🥲 Thanks for watching and best of luck in training!! 💖
One of the worst reviews of this hotels I have ever seen… I mean besides you using your camera as a mirror all the time, your faces suggesting that you think you are better than this place were just too much. So glad there’s other videos of this amazing looking resort, overall this was a review of how you looked those days.
Yes, but not for all of it. At WJ, reserve blocks can be 5-6 days for 12 hours each day. You get minimum 4 hour credit at your rate of pay (assuming you’re a new hire so $27-$28 I think) even if you don’t get activated. If you do, you get paid the greater (minimum or flight time)
I might be planning to go to this hotel next year. It looks really nice in your video! I have a few questions. Were you also able to take the shuttle to the restaurant area or was it not far walking from your room? Was the beach nice around the time you went or was there a lot of seaweed?
There are shuttles to take around the resorts and it makes frequent stops, but it doesn't come that often depending on the time of day. Depending on where you room is, I would say it would be maximum 10-15 minutes walk to the restaurants. As for the beach, it was pretty clean. Not much seaweed at all (I went in December)
As a Canadian flight attendant, have you ever forced someone to check in a monos carry on plus for being too big? I really want to buy the monos carry on in the plus size since i tend to overpack, but I'm so scared that they're gonna force me to check the bag since it's slightly bigger than both Air Canada and Westjet's carry on dimensions. I know that it also depends on how full the flight is, but all of the flights I've taken in the pas 3 years have been full and they've been pretty insistent on checking bags to accommodate space. I'm wondering if you know if the plus carry on fits in the airport luggage sizer and if the plus is a common bag that people use and get away with using as a carry on. Thank you so much!!
Hi! The reason why they check bags before boarding is because overhead bin space is EXTREMELY limited and passengers have been bringing way too many bags/big bags into the cabin- we do not want to take any extra delays for accommodating bags that can't fit in the cabin. It all depends on if the gate agent decides to enforce sizing bags or not prior to boarding. Once it comes on board, if there's space and it fits, great. Otherwise if it doesn't fit in the overhead bin or there's no space, it's going to be checked to the cargo. Hope this helps!
Lol to people watching, don't listen to this. 😂 The mini is perfect as a personal item. Fits under the seat and the trolly sleeve can fit on the back of your carry on suitcase so you don't have to carry it on your arm. The large weekender is enormous and that's a legit suitcase.
If there’s a life vest compartment underneath this isn’t going to fit. I can speak on behalf of all FAs- stop bringing these ginormous “personal items” that don’t even fit in the actual dimensions of a personal item. 💀
@@sincerelysammy Then where has mine been fitting? On all my domestic and transatlantic flights? Including Ryanair 😂 Like you said, you're an FA. You're not in the passenger's seat. Don't mislead people for no reason.
@@dianarusnov292 I said what I said- this is not a personal item (my personal opinion) I see this bag causing issues all the time flying as a FA, and would never bring this on my personal travels.
I stuffed my monos and the telescope handle would not come out and I used the large packing cube I decided to return it and get the pro since it’s a bit bigger
