Welcome to my channel and my life with parrots! I teach bird owners how to care for parrots and most of all, give their parrots a cage-free life with #ENGAGEDNOTCAGED
Love him like he's family, include him like he's your best friend, respect him like he's your teacher.
Thank you so much for watching, it means the world to me to know that every subscriber is someone who cares about and wants to learn everything they can for their bird!
Thank you for sharing! You’re the first bird lady I followed after taking in my mom’s 30 year old gray (had him since I was born, but he’s solely my responsibility now). Back in the 90s there wasn’t a lot of education out there so my mother unfortunately has had him caged his entire life. We are slowly working towards letting him be free. His flight wings are growing back and we will have to teach him to fly. He’s hesitant in being out of his cage for too long and hates baths but we are getting somewhere! My biggest problem is he’s not super treat driven (or maybe I just haven’t found the right one yet?) so I don’t know if he can be trained. I wanted to clicker train but I need to know what he’ll eat for it!
Thank you so much!! I feel like i have been gone so long that i need to reintroduce all the birds and have their stories up. I really appreciate you being a part of our sniffers family!!
Thanks for sharing Jeresy's story. It seems that lots of rescued exotic birds have quite interesting stories. Even my Anazon. They become a big part of our lives!❤❤❤😊
@@MARLENEMCCOHEN thanks for asking, we rescued Gigi 8yrs ago. Her first human was killed in a car accident and lived with his mom for awhile. She couldn't keep her she had a busy life. Gigi was traumatized she was with him in the car and screamed when she heard sirens or crying children, even on 📺! With love and patience Gigi is now a happy loving bird BUT now she is so spoiled in so many ways! 😆...we love her ❤ 💕 ♥ so happy we found her! Engaged not caged is our motto in our home thanks to finding your channel, you've been my guide to living with Gigi!
I love her so much ❤❤❤ I’ve always loved her ever since I started to watch your RU-vid I found out I love birds ❤ thank you for sharing her and your other birds .
hi I have a problem with my white belly caique, he is 1 year old and today he started attacking my partner, I am his favorite, are there solutions to correct this behavior?
I'm late to the party as usual. Marlene I love all your bird's however when my Mother and I watched Vinnie chase George around cussing him out, are my favorite because my Mother laughed till she cried. She just turned 82 and still works full time as a nurse so any time I can see her laugh and enjoy herself is special. I look forward to any and all your video's . This one was awesome!!!! take care. Can't believe it's Parrot's voice... sounds like a computer recording... If it's indeed parrot, then I'm blown away! I know parrots can live for 80 years. But never knew they could learn so much vocabulary, language, reasoning, logical thinking like humans...
Any ideas as to how to teach my senegal tricks when he doesn't have a favorite snack for praise???? I'm absolutely stumped. Excited encouragement and praise does nothing for him either.
