Thank you so much! This is the only TV Show that I watched when I was a Toddler, and I liked it alot! As a BabyvBoomer, watching this, all of these decades later, is very heartwarming and nostalgically sentimental💙
Thanks from New Orleans I'm 70 this year and finding this hit a sweet feeling of the American that was...imagine now our children are forced into drag shows by their parents no less God help this country
He moves among creatures Of frightening features: Flashing teeth, slashing jaws, Flapping fins, snapping claws! He protects and he saves His friends under the waves; That's where you'll find Diver Dan! The series opening and closing themes were written, performed, and sung by the show's sound engineer, Jack Sky, in a double tracked recorded voice.
Okay people listen up I finally found my childhood program that I used to watch I believe I was 3 or 4 years old I could never remember the name but I found it hip hip hooray that fish with a droopy eyes looks like Barney Fife hahaha
Last saw this when I was about 5 years old. No one I know had ever heard of it. The barracuda was sooo mean! Love seeing it again! We always wanted Minerva to meet Diver Dan.
He must be down a couple of hundred feet because he is seriously narced (nitrogen narcosis). When the fish start talking to you and some lobster waves his claw at you and tells you to follow him, it's time to start heading up.
I used to watch this growing up in Missouri. Moved to NY in 1965 but never saw it here and didn’t know anyone who knew this show! I never forgot this song! I am ecstatic to see this again. Thank you for uploading!
My father Hal Tunis was apparently the producer of this. You can hear his voice about friend to the end in the first ten seconds of the video. I did not grow up with him. and it is very cool to hear his voice here.
Clueless authority figures, look at out Country today. America, was so Wonderful, for many decades. Trashed by ignorant closed minded fools. Who bleed to much.
All I remember is that it's one of my earliest memories of what I watched on TV. Along with Flash Gordon. All I remember about the latter was that I was obsessed with jet-packs that enabled them to fly. That's it. All I remember about Diver Dan was that I watched it regularly.
