Great build, Dave! You are fortunate to have one of these classic kits. I hope you had lots of nostalgic fun building it! I hope even more that Atlantis has the tooling, and we'll see a repop in the near future. Thanks for sharing this with us! 25th Like.
I have the 1/35th scale ICM "Taxi de la Marne Renault with French Infantry" kit. But that 1/24th scale version is just crying-out to be built as an American-style Hot Rod with drag slicks and either a blown V8 or even a Corvair Engine along the lines of the Revell kits. Is that how you'll be building your example . . . ? Looking forward to your review of the AMT "L'il" Kits designed by John Bogosian! Thanks in advance! 12th Like.
Did I understand that this has a silver base color with the translucent green sprayed over it? Is that right? I’ve seen some diecast cars painted that way. Your build looks really good. 👍🏻
Obviously Dave Deal art work, almost looks like Tom Daniel sitting in the passenger side!!! LOL! Man, really clean build Dave! The details are fantastic!
I saw your post on Spotlight. It sure would be nice if Atlantis (or whomever has the tooling) would bring all of those versions out that you mentioned. BTW, that's a great build up. 👍 Cool video. Hope you got more in the works.
Just saw your post on Spotlight - I have wanted one of those for a long time - I have never seen one on a swap meet table - ever! Subscribed too by the way. Good luck with the channel.
Thanks. Williams F-3 which are copies of Lionel's. I need 2 more cars for a exact train but then it gets to long so this will do. I started the project 10 years ago, finished it last winter. Thanks
I kinda gave the answer above.....bottom line is the Turbo Train is a GREAT set. But getting it out of the box , all the connections made, cars coupled and running correct can take hours!!!! And after 20-30 minutes running a electrical connection will come loose and it shuts down. But I still glad I bought her!!!!
