on your MODE selecter. hold the up button until the menu comes up on the screen. scroll to date and time. hold the DOWN button to change EACH one, set your date and time, then hold the down button to go to the next one, after you're done hold the up button to exit out.
Ok i received mine with no hardware or bracket at all. I contacted j&p. Did you have to remove the pipes to get this on right? When you put heat shield over the slip on, you cant tighten any clamps.
Thanks for the reply. Does it go away when did engine warms up? Does it get worse when you rev? I'd be worried sick listening to it rattle like that. How do often do you need to check the valves?
Just ordered this exhaust for my 2015. Still running good? Any issues with it running lean or rich since you didn't do tuner, PCV or air intake? Figured I'd ask again since it's been almost 2 years since you installed.

After you installed this did your bike run super lean? I just got the same one in the mail for my bolt and was wondering if I'm gonna need a fuel controller once I put it on
Garrett Leum hiya,only way to tell if running lean is to dyno it ,which I may well do .the bike feels fine to me .ps I needed to reshape the heat shield ,to enable me to tighten up the clamp .you have to use existing bolts to fit mounting plate .sounds even better on the move .:)
Heat sheild needed fettling to fit properly as a clamp was in the way,seller also supplied the wrong size clamps ,easy to scratch the Matt Finnish ,I touched it up after fitting.you have to use a couple of standard bolts to fit the exhaust hanger ,and I managed to round off a supplied Allen head bolt which were soft. Plus side it sounded great and was cheap off ebay £149 new from China ,build quality not too bad .
Put in tubes as the spokes can leak on some bikes,dealer back up can be an issue if u haven't got one near you ,same with parts ,they are available but italy goes to sleep in the summer . Petrol tank can swell a bit making refitting tank panel /fuel cap /plastics a pig. Weak indicators . 27 litre tank expensive to fill . 25mpg round town upto 60mpg on a run .electrical connectors in loom prone to corrosion if not lubbed . Well balanced bike built for the tall 6ft Man .fueling was good for lumpy twin , great bikes IMO .maybe getting a bit old now ,ie no ABS Electronic suspension power modes etc. needs an update . But great bike .buy one !
Best sounding can IMO ,I fitted the can myself no probs .I didnt notice lean running too much ,I didn't want to go down the PC route . Sounds like you sorted it ,well done !
Yes sorry compression on top ,rebound on bottom ,I'd not had the bike long when I made this vid . Gotta say weird post there trev mort slagging it off then shouting its greatness .maybe you bought a duff one and had to spend a fortune fixing it . Mine is A1.
FYI: compression is on the top, rebound on the bottom. This will also have the standard self-deflating tyres and habitual stalling issues no doubt...not to mention the crap fuel consumption, constant throttle surging etc. BUT, and the all important thing; with a 'full fat' remap & air bleed work from BSD (Peterboro), a full adjustmt Maxton fork conversion and other subtle mods the GP is a flyer, tourer and all round big grinner!!!........ Not for the 'chinless' R1200GS owner that's for sure!

The bike ran well IMO. Nice an smooth ,no backfire ,a power comander not nessasary IMO . But one will always improve running ,if you want to spend put on one .
