The way I fish it is similar but I don’t pause as often. The pause is definitely what gets the bite but what gets the interest is quick hard jerks to make a frantic fish presentation. I fish a very clear water quarry and have the ability to observe a lot. Shadow rap does awesome in peak summer on this cold spring fed water. I always work along banks. The quick jerks without pause will get a dozen fish at times following it then three or four jerks with pauses is what triggers the bite.
Just a little update: As of October 2023, the original Vääsky factory is no longer producing any lures in Finland with the production being moved to Pärnu Estonia, resulting in layoffs. The research and development and technical support facilities however, still remain in Finland.
I only trying to make a leader like this weedless. It is annoying that the knot will pick up grass when i fish jigs between plants. I was thinking shrink tube and boiling water at home before giong to the lake
I have fished many spinners and was never impressed with these. the gear in bell is a joke. The water insude the bell would cushion it frim any significant banging, lol.
Just bought a pack used it just as Jacob explained on u tube and I shit u not 3rd cast I got one in after throwing a plethora of other lures I the same location this lure really is the truth
Clean up craw best soft plastic out right now in my opinion. I keep a very large back stock of my 5 favorite colors and there the 1 bait that never leaves my tackle bag!!
I love this lure, the idea of use a vertical fishing lure on a normal lake it's awesome, but I'm trying to use it in the sea, maybe with the same movements can catch snooks too?
