If the rules say the tree will be instant green, that means you have to see green before leaving, otherwise a rule has been broken, and a disqualification should ensue! When you are guessing the tree, the guesser is NOT taking an instant green(which is a rule that has been broken) and should be disqualified! If a driver is seeing green and you guys get time slips, you can tell if someone has guessed the green by the reaction time on the time slip! If that reaction time is anything less than .400 or .500 of a second, depending on which tree they use at each track, that driver has guessed the tree and did not see green! In actuality, seeing green, a driver is already at .400 or .500 plus another .180-.200 driver reaction time and .200-.220 car reaction time for a total reaction time of at least .800-.820 as a reaction time on a time slip!

Ok Paige, tell the guy that was “pushing the car at the start of the burnout that they are only there to “hold the car straight during the burnout” NOT PUSH THE CAR. Once it starts rolling forward he should just stop! There are many that do that and it makes absolutely no sense.
