If I currently have Tricare Prime and I move to an area that is not close to a MTF but does have in network civilian providers, would I still be in Prime or need to change to Select? Thank you
I don’t recall getting the notice that my healthcare was going to change when reaching 65. My application for social security was started 3 months before my 65th birthday and was delayed until 3 weeks prior. I then find out that because I wasn’t enrolled in Medicare until then my TriCare for life did not start. I went to fill a prescription and was told I have no coverage and apparently my meds are not on the Medicare approved list. At 65 a time when money is now restricted I’m told our TriCare premium of $420 a year for family coverage is now free under TriCare for Life we are told our Medicare premium is now $167 each per month. That’s 10 times what it was.
All this starts with Tricare awareness. The govt needs to get a hold of minorities that wanted educstion jobs to spy on the kids. Hispanics are very good at eliminating privilege sociology. They come back later and say "you didnt deserve it bc of your dental you worthless bitch " . The Hispanic teachers do that. The locals are supposed to be prepared with Dental and Health insurance information to prevent Minorities from gaming the system from the children. They wanted the best taxpayer funded educations which allowed for better food and medical information towards their own. Your kids who tested higher on exams where hurt deliberately so they take less. Learning what they want and giving them the outlet of certain tricare? You can take control back. You know exactly what they want. You should know the coverage plans thoroughly so the Hispanics can get their information slowly at appointments. They wanted to eat and study and get faster at taking the health advantage from Caucasians. Hispanics have the health advantage in the state of California. Theyre living longer than Caucasians now. If you can successfully give them their own coverage? You can technically give them what they want. You have no Medical power. They took your information. Theyve been monitoring children for labor information to businesses.
I think Recruiters should start focusing on Dental. Markets affect labor, culture is adjusted to pressure people in certain work. Tricare Dental needs to be sold earlier on bc you cant prevent the Market from changing you can only equip people with Information about tricare. If they keep their eligibility? They can get tricare. In Stockton, Ca, Filipinos wanted me to screw white men in the enlistment while their kids attended University to become commissioned officers. If people become more aware of their benefits? You learn to block Filipinos and Hispanics politically by questioning their opinion about work and University. Whose going to work? The tricare benefits knowledge allows people to learn to block their political attacks on children. Your dental and academic information is used to push your more than capable child to be their subordinates. They understand how to get Caucasian white women angry at other women. Once you realize that they know the Insurance? You learn to start educating people about Tricare. You can still join the military and still get what you want without Hispanics and Filipinos resorting to arrests. They thought they were securing diversity commissioned spots.

Why, why, WHY does the government make this so freaking difficult? (on purpose?) I have multiple Degrees, served 24 years Air Force and it's still stupid confusing!!!!! When I went in late 70's I always thought I (and Family) would have 100% Medical. Even when I retired I thought I had Tricare for my wife and I. NOPE!! STUPID confusing BS!!!

You do understand if you have TFL and a zero premium Medicare Advantage plan you medical and prescription bills could very well become zero. Nobody sells that package and nobody talks about it?
They treat us retired reservist the worst! I have been to the sandbox 3 times, and I can't get the lower costing tri care after I completed my 20 years. Fucking BS! And we have to wait until 59 to apply for our pension. This is why young people are not choosing the military anymore. Wake up, you old f&*!s. Times have changed.
i retired from US Navy and did not have any idea what is SBP. Do you have to pay anything for SBP just like life insurance. I know I dont have to pay for DIC,
I currently am 66 and have Medicare A&B, OHI, and TRICARE for Life. My spouse is same age working and on Medicare Part A, Employer OHI, My OHI. When she starts Medicare A&B can she also be covered by my TRICARE for Life too?
My husband's former spouse with a court-ordered SBP died recently so she never collected. I'm his second wife of 30 years; will I receive 55% SBP? I think we send in the death certificate, and our marriage certificate, plus a notarized DD Form 2656-6. Was confused by sec. 3 of this form. Do we treat this as remarriage or do we submit two of these forms, as Suspension followed by Remarriage? It says "new" spouse but I hardly feel "new" being we were married 30 years. It is incredibly hard to get answers from DFAS. Thanks.
Your husband would have had to enroll you. He will need to enroll you during an open season. They are announced in newsletters emailed out by dfas. You won’t be eligible unless he has enrolled you because there is a deduction from his retired pay that funds it.
Only after year 2 and before year 3 of retirement, or during some open enrollments. You have to have spousal concurrence if a spouse is the beneficiary.

Can a surviving spouse receive SBP, DIC, and Social Security Benefits at the same time. I know the surviving spouse can receive SBP and DIC at the same time but am not sure how Social Security is affected. I am not sure what SSIA is.

You can use Original Medicare and your Tricare For Life to pay for this surgery. Medicare pays first, Tricare pays second. Check with Medicare and Tricare to verify providers. You can also enroll into a Part C (MA-only) plan, which would cover your Parts A and B.
So much for free medical care for the rest of your life. That's what I was told I would receive if I completed a military career, which I did. Shameful.
This forces people like me to have to apply for Social Security Retirement at age 65 (and take a % cut) … in order for my Medicare Plan B to be paid for -> from my S.S.R. It is absolutely NOT FAIR! Government is cheating people who paid into S.S.R.
