My personal favorite moment in this entire episode is when Bud whispers to Steve about the ashes which results in Steve smiling and to borrow a quote from a previous comment, proceeds to eat that burger like a boss!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 My close second funniest scene is the look on Kelly's face when she learns about the ashes of Marcy's deceased aunt, and how she tells Bud who tells Peggy, and then Steve. And Al doesn't know anything about it!! 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
I loved Steve. Jefferson was amazing, but Steve was his own character. He would try to act superior to Al, but often was every bit his equal when it came down to it. David Garrison graduated from Freehold High School, which is less than 10 minutes from me.
Peg got what she deserved in this episode. Al screwed her brains out only after he sees her doing manual labor, and she hates every moment of it because she’s working hard for the only time in her life
OK, so I’ve seen this episode in its entirety. Peg (Al’s wife) accidentally knocked over the old ashes from the grill. She told her kids (Bud & Kelly) to search every single house for signs of ashes, since everyone was gone for Labor Day. Sure as the nose on your face, Kelly goes & takes Marcy’s aunt’s ashes from the urn above the mantelpiece in order to put them in the bowl of the grill. Marcy knows not of this, and neither does Al, but Peg, Kelly, Steve & Bud do. They basically used ashes from the recently-deceased to grill burgers.
For years, my dumb butt thought Peg and Kelly were running around in sheer pandemonium.... realized years later she was trying to kill Kelly... smdh....
One of the top 5 episodes of that show, along with Al and Peg dominating their high school reunion, the memorial day freeway riot that Al causes, Al, Peg, Steve, and Marcy on that married couples gameshow, and the one where Al becomes the town laughing stock by being so bad at sex.
