Hi, I'm trying to redo a beverage tub sink that was done incorrectly. Just a couple of questions:1) the whole that is drilled into the wood is 2". How big should I drill the hole into the galvanized tub that works with the already drilled hole and the drain you suggested. PLEASE HELP
I have the Atomstack S10 Pro (I Think it is just a diff color than yours). I am having this issue, added the ground wire between the 3 points, same as you (I now shoe continuity same as yours) -- sitting here, idle, for 15-30 minutes the controller restarted 2x. How is the ground supposed to get back to house wiring as the 12v system does not have a ground wire to the case. Do I need to open it up and add a ground?
My son put a small rock down the disposal. I was about to take apart the entire thing. Your advice not to was much appreciated. I got a light and needle nose pliers and finally found that damn thing. Thanks a ton!
My toilet is from the 1920s and everything inside of it broke and there's not shut off. I had to turn off the water to the entire house. Can't believe the previous owners were cool with not upgrading anything for 70-100 years.
Am just trying to replace the worn out gasket on the Kohler toilet canister but the toilet valve is stuck. So this trick has stopped from refilling water inside the toilet tank. When it's completely empty, I assume I can leave the hanger there until such time I can remove the canister and replace the gasket and put it back in, correct? I just need a second opinion 😊 please.
It is a wash machine hose, so it is designed to have pressure on it constantly. And the fittings are plumbing fittings with the same requirements. Good question, thanks.
I bought the 6mm cotton cord but used size 9 needles. size of needles shouldn't make any difference. The larger needles will just give it that chunky look. I bought bamboo needles also. When I proceeded to make this, I found it was very, very hard to slide the cotton yarn over the bamboo needles. It was so tough I ended up giving up. I am knitter of many years and have make many things but this was very hard to make. Can you give me any suggestions please. I love this!
I agree, it is harder than using yarn for sure! I had to keep mine loose, otherwise I couldn't get it to slide. If it is grabbing on your needles, maybe rub wax paper on the needles??
This has been very helpful up to a few spots. I cannot for the life of me get the top shelf in even at an angle & I don’t know where those side panels go. You just skipped that step & went right to the batteries??
@@DIYOnTheHouse yep, just took a little finagling but I eventually got it to snap down in there. Really nice safe for the price point! & won’t be a bear to move if ever need be like the giant fireproof safes would be.
Thank you both so much. Explain in an easy to understand lesson. I will share my 1st rug. Again, to BOTH of you thank you very much. Planning on giving as great gifts as well. 🎉🎉🎉
Rewatching this video and wondering about your peg loom rugs. I love the thickness of your twined rug. How would the thickness of a peg loom rug compare? Can the peg loom be warped with fabric strips? Thanks 😊 -Addie
I don't think my peg loom would do fabric - maybe if I had Ross cut slits instead of holes - if we did holes, the diameter would need to be quite large and it would cause other issues. I will have to ask him how someone would make a slit in a dowel??
I've made quite a few twined rugs and love the way they turn out. One of the pluses is that they are extremely durable with the fabric warp. . Some of my rugs have the ends woven back in and others let the fabric warp ends become a type of fringe. My husband made my loom of 1x2s that are fastened together with bolts and wing nuts. It is adjustable to almost any size rug. Thank you for the video. I was interested in seeing that you cross over two warp strands instead of one
from Gerry- I have made your rag rugs and love them. I also have a rigid heddle loom and have made a rug with it. I would suggest 2 strands of carpet warp in the weft for a studier warp and yes, pushing down the rows is so important. I have a # 5 dent reed and perhaps that would allow a one inch fabric warp to pass through the holes and slots. I haven't tried that yet. Keep up the good work and God bless.
Wow - I never thought of a different dent to do fabric through!! I love experimenting with all of the variables! Great suggestion on 2 strands - I will do that next! Thanks so much for helping me out!!
I appreciate your inquisitive personality. I will not list the cons on the heddle, however, were I younger, I might have considered working with one. When I consider how easy it is for me to warp the rag rug homemade loom, the portability, the ease in teaching others .... no contest. This was a very informative and fun video - - as usual! <wave>
You are so sweet! I totally agree, warping the homemade loom is SOOOO easy. I am so intrigued by the contrast of the look of the rugs between the looms!
@@DIYOnTheHouse I think I understand ... I grew up with rugs made on a heddle loom ... had I actually been allowed to be exposed to how it was done, I probably would be absolutely sold on the process. However, that has to do with my obsessive personality - - I can "worry" something for a long time and be perfectly happy! ... As I got older, I became more selective about my attention ... perhaps, even a bit more practical ... the idea of using scrap pieces of fabric suits my attraction to practical and colors ... Most people are never exposed to the opportunities we have been exposed to. It is truly a blessing to be able to look at something and create something out of one man's trash ... another person's treasure ... It took me a long time to comprehend that God created us to create (in His image) ... the world be indeed be quite stark without our individuality and desire to create, I think.
