SUMMARY WITH CURRENT DAY TIPS * There is a shortcut from Vanno to bolotky but it can only be used from vanno to bolotky if you’ve gone through it from bolotky to vanno, often times in the mission that gives you level 2 * Buy M9 (or Glock 17 as it holds more ammunition and does basically the same thing for a cheaper price) and kit it out with upgrades and attachments of your choosing *(EXTRA) Try to take advantage of all of the available stashes you can find around the radius, it’s surprisingly easy to take screenshots of the maps, google available stashes in _____ ITR map and make guides for yourself on how to find them. They kit you out very early on and are super worth it. *Clean your weapons often, the video says mags and silencers need to be cleaned in the train device but in reality only suppressors need the special treatment, you can also save cleaning oil by putting multiple items on the weapon holder while cleaning and doing one solid spray across both items *Buy headlamp and gas mask (DONT SKIP THESE, THEY ARE CHEAP AND SUPER USEFUL) *instead of having all FMJ and one mag of AP, just buy AP. Sure it’s expensive but its better and more likely to save your life. *instead of buying fifty small boxes of ammo, buy one big box of ammo as it’s cheaper in the long run *Check for tide often and if it’s too much of a pain, change your difficulty settings and increase tide intervals. Always be aware of current missions that get reset by the tide and finish them quick *Avoid the spaghetti from hell. As simple as that, just don’t walk into it. *You can take paparazzi mission pictures of enemies in ANY map, not just the map the mission says it’s in. In fact the location of paparazzi missions is the most useless thing in the game besides the durability meter on the flashlight *(EXTRA) only get artifacts and loot after the location is clear of enemies. I have been in the middle of an anomaly field when I’m swarmed by enemies that I said “I’ll get them later” beforehand
Me at 23h just finished the bomb door mission, butthole clenched knowing now that these are an actual thing now. Sucks the enemy is spoiled but I'm also grateful, fml. On pins and needles until I run into one of these now.
Cod MW 2019, FAL is one of the strongest guns available. But for absolutely no reason but to make other guns stand out more; the FAL was intentionally designed to be bad. So sad, I would have loved the FAL.
Regarding the difference between playing on a monitor vs in VR... I have never shut down monitor based Skyrim and felt like I just came back from another world. I get that feeling quite a bit after a couple or three hours in the headset with Skyrim or Fallout 4.
in regards to talking about the issue with physically crouching to go into sneak mode at 2:45. there are a few ways to solve the issue, i have found the easiest by far is to go down on one knee (kneel) and use the controller to turn the character, and to do a baseball catchers crouch (legs spread wide, bend knees slightly, lean forward slightly) if you want freedom to move and turn. I also found the realistic archery mod to be a must, simply for the fact that it has you pull from a quiver and notch it (press button behind head, press button near other hand) instead of the arrow auto spawning in your hand. Ive done 5 hour long play sessions so far, with the limiting factor getting tired from standing. Modded skyrim vr with an archer build is some of the most fun
I’ve noticed how the spiders ALWAYS jump at your face/chest. My favorite way to kill them is to stand still and hold out a knife at arm’s length in front of me. 90% of the time they skewer themselves.
You can use the strap and loop it around your back and shoulder and connect it to the controller strap. Honestly just the tension does enough, and you don't have to deal with like -any- of the downsides of the gunstock part. I've used both and the gunstock was only SLIGHTLY more steady; but not enough to even be worth bothering with.
honestly skyrim vr is more then passable at this point, but fallout 4 vr suck. they never added the DLC so 90% of the mods dont work, the weapon mods almost all bug out, the body mod is really janky compared to skyrims, and even if you hack in the DLC and patch everything yourself for the weapon mods you still cant add automatrom cuz it crashes VR and no one can fix it, so most big mods will never work. bethesda could theoretically fix it, if they cared, they dont.
Sliders are just as dangerous as Spawns, only when they catch you off guard, and when they are in group, they are basicaly just a bigger and badder Spawns

I hope to goodness I can get this installed again. I had it installed before but I have reinstalled the whole OS since then and I cannot figure out how to fix the compilation errors again. Yeah, I have to compile from source because the maintainer does not have a linux PC lol.
One little tip I figured out is you just have to sleep to the next hour to health all your health and it doesn’t make you hungry and an extra benefit gives you more time before the tide comes
Also another thing is bring cans of food they have a decent amount of waste a way to combat this and save some is to take the food off the knife and shove it into your bag great way to save a few extra kg’s
The only enemy type in the game that genuinely scares me is the spawn because of the sounds and speed even though they are easy to dodge they just freak me out
I did start playing OpenMorrowind VR, but couldn't get on with the attack mechanic, you can attack an enemy multiple times but there is no guarantee the enemy even gets hit.
This is the nature of Morrowind I'm afraid. Every attack has a chance of landing. Your chance to hit increases of you have full fatigue and every time you level up your skill. About mid game, you can expect to land all your hits
@@c6jones720 Morrowind's strength is not its combat, but its immersion, lore, and art direction. There was absolutely nothing like it at the time, and in some ways there still isn't. If you don't care for those sorts of things, then you're not going to like Morrowind, which is more than fine, you can always play Skyrim again.
I’ve seen some videos for this game that have the player in the video with items out in the green chair area where the cake is found. Outfront of the “shop” is. Do things stay here when left or only in your house?
My greatest tip: a lot of missions tell you to go prepared with this and that item, or when you see security level 1-3 missions it could be assumed to be a tad difficult based on the pay. But there is a significant difficulty increase for the security level 4 mission… go armed to the teeth, loaded mags, spare ammo. And 3-5 grenades might not be a bad idea. There are a lot of rooms full of armored enemies hence the nades. Any ap ammo you can muster will help when your in the building where you plant the explo . 3 healing pens at least and definitely use the safe house outside. I guess I went in a tad ill-equipped with a Glock + 4 mags and a sawed off with slugs. If I had a pistol with smaller mags I probably would have died. Mag dumping the Glock saved me twice, and I used a ton of shotgun ammo to get all of this done, also I used 4 grenades. All came to fruition with loot though, akm, pp2000, dropped the sawed off for the next best shotgun (ith?? I think) I found amongst the loot. And about 3k in sold loot. I was so full on the walk back that I had to throw the pp2000 and sprint to it…repeat so I wasn’t over encumbered coming back. Oh I guess last thing for this Bible ass comment. The walk back from security level 4 quest ties up one of your hands carrying a case back. Pppps. It seems to me that anything you leave in your waist pouch revives with you when you die ( on the difficulty I’m playing at least.) so putting damn near everything in the waist pouch when your out in the wild means I can die and respawn with quest item loot, respawn and complete quests and use any money earned to rearm and go back out. I found this game on sale and took a little chance and am not disappointed at all. It’s pretty cheap right now I believe
