For me, it's not whether folks should or should not use a drug to help them lose weight. For me, it's should dieters get that drug OVER PEOPLE WITH MEDICAL CONDITIONS WHO NEED THAT SAME DRUG? I have Type II Diabetes. I have had to switch pharmacies, because the first and second could not GET Ozempic, it was so backordered. I have had to wait a MONTH to get my Ozempic refill, doing without in the meantime. I've called and called my specialist, in hopes she had received a shipment of free samples. Why do dieters get their Ozempic when a Diabetic cannot? I finally asked to be taken off Ozempic. I'm having to take 2 different drugs, now, to accomplish what Ozempic accomplished alone.
Are you talking about ketamine IV infusions? I've been in ketamine therapy for 2.5 years. How I combat the "awful" feeling is with: 1. Earbuds to play relaxation music is a MUST! 2. I watch Anthony Sommer (here on YT) kaleidoscopes on my VR goggles! Now when the internet goes down at my doctor's office & I don't have music or visuals ... it IS an awful experience. BORED to tears. Anxious, etc. Every infusion is a different experience. No 2 are alike. I swear by music & visuals! Using this combo also counts as bio-feedback: "Biofeedback is a mind-body technique that helps people learn to control involuntary bodily functions, such as heart rate, breathing, and muscle tension. The goal is to improve health by using these techniques to treat conditions like high blood pressure, migraines, chronic pain, and ADHD." Ketamine IV therapy has changed my life. Probably saved my life, as I've struggled with TRD (treatment resistant depression) for over 30 years. Soooo ... is this the therapy you were addressing?
My 30 year heavy lifting career had me on my feet 8+ hours a day. I was constantly sore to the point of losing my job because of it. It turns out that I actually had an inguinal hernia and it made my back hurt, but I got fired before a diagnosis could be obtained. Now, lots of walking makes my back hurt, because it annoys the hernia mesh which will spasm the back.
Framing this as kids are craving rules is very disingenuous, kids need rules and boundaries in their life to help guide them and prepare them to live in society.

I did. I wanted to know exactly where the boundaries were so that I could do what I wanted to within them. Not knowing what would get me in trouble or not caused me a lot of distress as a kid
I think kids crave to have their own rules and boundaries listened to, honestly. And if that would happen, they’d have a much easier time listening to the rules and boundaries of others
I had to learn to accept myself without apology. The meditation workbook called 30 Days to Overcome Rejection by Harper Daniels was a great help for me.
My daughter said she hated me a few times. I didn’t give her any power, just told her I loved her and let it go. She stopped because her words had no effect.
My mom literally forgot me everywhere all the time. I remember sitting at school one day until like 5:30-6pm (school was done at 3) and my principal came out and said oh why are you still here? I said I’m waiting for my mom, she’s coming, she’s just always late. The principal gave me a ride home (30 min drive) and when I showed up my mom didn’t even ask how I got home
Another time I was at a big event, I was a volunteer, I was about 12. I gave my mom tix to the event and she was supposed to come. The queen was coming! It was pouring rain, I was totally soaked head to toe. My friends parents were there and they were waiting with me for my mom to pick me up but after an hour they were like how about we just drive you home. Nobody ever had the heart to tell me that my mom just forgot I existed
This is insane! Really sorry to hear this and send you good vibes. My husband is so so strict about getting to school to pick our daughter up on time, he went through similar trauma🙁
Goggins talked about how hard it is for him to learn something, that he pretty much had to write the whole book he studies from start to finish and memorize it all together. How does this in any way correlate to learning/memorizing something instantly?
@@suparnom Learning is the process of gaining new knowledge or new skills. Just imagine yourself kicking the ball 100 times, your not memorizing it. Your learning how to kick the ball.
