@@ImRated There’s a strat you can do where you go up to the Arcade balcony and place a shield in front of the AC unit and just use a Lancer, Torque Bow and a Gorgon.
Personally, I dislike the original trilogy fans, because they and the "Gears is dead" videos are the main reason why I didn't try any Gears games before, thinking Gears 5 was trash, when it was just a really good game, liked by players and critics, that happens to NOT top the original trilogy or have the darker tone those games had, but I'm still really hyped about this. I'll finally see and understand the reason why they praise these games so much. Yes, I find Gears fans annoying, so I'll ignore what ever they have to say about Gears 6 when ever that comes out, but that doesn't mean I dislike the games. I was thinking about buying the trilogy on the Xbox store, and then emulate Gears Of War 2 and 3, because they never got official PC ports, but now that this got announced... it's probably better to just wait. I would only have to emulate Judgment. I truly dislike the idea of playing shooters with a controller tho. You get rid of an entire and very important "feeling" these titles have.
let them cook. full development only began in 2022. before that, coalition were working on 2 other titles in UE5 to get accustomed to the engine. those got scrapped to make room for gears 6 in 2022. i'd rather play a good gears 6 in 2026 than a bad one in 2024.
that said, they could hand the IP to another studio like they did with tactics while TC are working on gears 6. the other studio could handle a marcus fenix collection or do some other spin-off.
I’m ngl with how gaming has gone gears will probably fall like most good franchises have to the woke saga gotta make everything feminine and gay and hardly any gore and more bright colours so they can pull the kids in sad how gaming is all about money and not making dreams no more no passion just copy and paste and then once it’s died after 2months the next game 😒
As long as the game has solid Gears 3 multiplayer, great map layouts, non of this over hyper coloured cheesy looking designs/characters, a solid gripping story with the swarm becoming full fledgidly the Locust again would be AMAZING. Also no bullshitty sponsers like Halo characters, Terminator and random rainbow coloured singers or actors. As a solid Gears fan from day 1 still giving the Gears franchise a chance to restore itself to a better state with love and passion for Gears of War then I'm happy.

Even if they made a 1-3 remaster, the original devs are not there. UE is a perfect example of them not understanding the color scheme and vibe. Theres also a 0% chance the game will feel like the old games. Sound design, gore, weapon feel, being able to backpack people, laggy server making you lead your shots. All the beauty from those games are lost to time

I would love to see you put a video out of playing on insane. You seem like you're a pro at horde and have the time to play from wave 1-50 on insane. I watched that video. It took him over 1 hour to complete wave 50 ONLY.
