Kingdra’s attack ‘Kings Order’ allows you to pull 3 water pokemon from your discard pile and put them on your bench. Doesn’t matter if they’re basic or not. I just run one Frigibax as a back up plan.
played this deck recently and for anyone wanting to try it, i recommend replacing Professors research with carmine. early game can straight up kill you if you have a slightly bad hand and I've found out the utility of carmine makes it a bit easier in this going first deck. also can run arven or iridia to find rare candies
Hey, only started playing a couple days ago and was looking for off the beaten path decks, loving the videos you are making! For a newer player which deck would you recommend between this, the gouging fire or the kingambit decks youve showcased recently? If you have any other sugestions Im open to anything. Thanks!
Hey! Thanks for the kind words. As a new player, out of those 3 I would recommend Gouging Fire as it is pretty easy to play and has the most competitive potential out of the three. If you are looking for a good deck in general for a beginner, I would recommend building Charizard/Pidgeot ex. Let me know if you have any questions
I love the deck idea, infernape is one of my favourites and carried me through my first ever diamond playthrough. Also wouldn't have going for the professors research in that last turn better than going for the Sada? You had 1 of each energy left in deck which is all you needed and the prime catcher in deck. The only way you miss out on winning is if 1 of the energies or prime catcher itself is that last card. I mean you might have seen it when editing/looking back on the game and it's easier to see these things from a spectators point of view. I know i've made quite a few miss-plays in the moment of a game then realized what I could've done better a turn or so later.

Having a one of bisharp combos so nicely with hyper aroma, and would have led to a quicker Kingambit in this game. Or maybe even tm evo, since you dont have any turn one attacker anyways, and you already function off of single energy attacks. Great video otherwise! New to here, cant wait to see some other vids
It is really good to learn from mistakes and seeing this deck. I am studying for medschool but this was a fun game to watch during my break :D Thanks! :) Keep it up.
Great video, awesome stuff. Here are some edits I made to kind of bump up consistency a little bit if anyone wants to try it. Feel like you wouldn’t need to. Every pokemon in this list is very easily one shottable and you’re not doing any damage to yourself. It would never have a chance to be effective
I totally love this deck and I'm gonna play it for sure, just with the addition of 2 Palkia V Star, their ability is too powerful to not play it. Also consider an Ogerpon Water to snipe bench in case you have Greninja prized.
Have you tried pokestop in this deck? Feel like that could help with getting that needed energy into your hand a lot like Pao decks that use it. This deck is similar to Pao decks in the way it plays I think it sacrifices the speed of a Pao deck but the added versatility of being able to have a variety of Strong water pokemon that to do different stuff if you can last. Really fun deck I like it a lot!
I love Kingdra. These deck is similiar to Regidrago. Its like a water toolbox deck. You can add strong Single prizer like feraligatr or big Pokémon like Palkia V-Star or Kyurem V-Max. And as a chen-pao Player: this deck doesnt get hurt that much when bax gets killed. In pao the game is mostly over when this happened 😅. I dont know which one is better.... Kingdra or Pao
I looked into adding the seismitoad as a backup single prize attacker, has the ability that makes your opponents attacks add one colorless cost and can swing for above 200
unlocked the deck today and loved the idea of palafins jumping back and forth putting up huge damage numbers but couldnt get the deck to "play out". this video and ur skeleton list helped a ton! keep up good work homie
Astral Radiance Hisuian Sneasler has the Carry and Climb Ability that reduces your retreat cost by 2 so long as it’s on the bench. If you bench two of them (Stage 1 so it’s not too hard to set up) and pair it with Palafin ex it’s very reliable. Hyper Aroma as the Ace Spec goes hard in this deck.
Have they fixed the bug where when you evolve into the ex...the game crashes. It did for my .the first time I tried to test the deck in. Test mode After hearing about the bug
