Its all about the remote control helicopter hobby. I show how to video's on tips, settings, installing upgrades and beginner flying lessons. I also travel to many fun fly's where I video many pro pilots including world champions. I try to make my video's funny and entertaining, check out my video flying inverted under a truck. Checkout my new Pilot tee shirts that have become very popular teespring.com/stores/rc-heli-pilot-shirts I post new video's every month and hope you subscribe to my channel and I will do the same for you. If you would like to see a specific video ask and I will see what I can do.

Hello , I also have this Heli . For some reason the Swash Plate will not raise when I throttle up to collective pitch. everything else works fine . Throttle , Rudder , Elevator and Aileron . The Swash Plate will raise if I push the Panic /Bind button . I am using the DXs transmitter that came with it . Thanks . love your video's

I need to do mine too. A couple of things occurred to me looking at it. 1st you could probably take the broken bit of the boom out and just put the boom back in, OK it would be a few mm shorter, but still...Obviously I'm not being too serious here, as with the shorter boom it probably wouldn't fly right, and the tail rotor may end up hitting the main blades. Thew other thing that occurred to me, was whether it was necessary to unplug the tail motor from the flight computer, would it be possible to disconnect the tail motor at the tail end, like is it soldered?
This is my first heli and this video helped. Starting to venture out or safe mode and boom right into a disk golf goal thing-ma-jig. Parts are in route, thanks for the help!
thats such a cutie little thing.....i see you even put it out of track which is a brain tease for me as to why, except to force the front end to slide. I guess when u r a 3D expert in heli this baby is easy enough skill level to operate.
I have been trying to find a lap time comparison between a traxxas tqi radio vs a higher quality radio. Both installed in the same car and I cant find this comparison anywhere on RU-vid
Hello, and thanks for the video. I was wondering if my links are at the right length according to the manual should I have to turn them anyway to set zero pitch? Also I can use programming to set pitch on my M2. Would I be able to just use the transmitter or would I have to turn the links also? Also, I noticed I seem to have zero pitch at mid stick when I’m in idle up but not normal mode. Is this normal? Finally, my bird flies perfectly level even though I don’t have zero pitch at mid stick one in normal mode. I guess there is a difference between the swash being perfectly level and zero pitch. Am I mistaken to assume that zero pitch is most important for inverted flying and the like, hence, is that why I have close to zero pitch in idle up and what are the ramifications for not having zero pitch since the hell he seems to fly perfect. I realize I’m asking a lot of questions, but any help would be appreciated.
Just a side note if your going to do this mod, you dont have to remove anything from the fbl, just loosen the boom off, and snip the wires. Then solder on your servo connectors.
This hobby is exciting. I had a rotor blade strike the tail boom after the linkage broke , flew it again and it snapped. 😅 Thank you for the video Sir.
I have a "pre smart" 230s v2..it needs a reciever..can i update to a smart reciever and esc and retain original motors and servos??? Im using an nx8 radio
If you don't have a new boom you can pull out the broken piece put a small hole in the leftover boom in the right place and just push it back in and put screw in. Have new booms coming but even with slightly shorter boom still flies just the same.
Yeah I thought that too, but I wasn't sure if it would still fly properly. TBH just the thought of having to do all this just to put the broken tail boom in, and then to have to do it all over again when the new boom arrives, nah, just going to wait till I get the new tail boom.
Be nice to have a MANUAL for that Goosky S2 flight controller. How did you find out the setting was 11.5? And what's the brand of your pitch gauge please? And thanks.
hey all maybe you can help me. i repaired my 230s and he bacame a new body frame but now i have an issue that he vibrates very strong if i start the main rotor. can maybe somebody explain me how to calibrate this one? thank you so much
I just bought this helicopter I'm shocked it is so tail heavy with an 850 mA battery…This video is all you probably don't even have this helicopter but I just bought one brand-new for 100 bucks. It's just his tail heavy is yours is and it's sickening I hate horizon products only got mine because it was cheap. And don't compromise if you're still flying it should be dead flat and when you said it's better it's actually really bad it has to be dead flat. Well if you're still out there your video is important but you didn't stress hard enough it should be dead flat… And I know it may suck but the lead should either be in the canopy in the very tip of the nose… It should still stay on. If you don't want it on the canopy then get a popsicle stick I don't care get it is far forward as possible.Yeah been around for a while been doing helicopters for many years. But I'm getting old haven't done it for a while and like I said I bought this helicopter cheap
Thank you this was super helpful as I fly indoors a lot but also wanted something suitable for outdoors. Seeing it compared to other models I'm familiar with was really useful!
