Thanks for visiting my channel! I'm Cedric, an actor and filmmaker currently based in the New York City area. I'll be sharing reaction videos to new songs and groups, covers, and duets with other professional singers and actors!
You can buy or rent my debut feature film, Cadia: The World Within, an indie family fantasy starring Corbin Bernsen and James Phelps, on Amazon Prime and Vudu now, and in doing so support the amazing, hard-working cast and crew that came together to make that magical project!
To find out more about Lara You have to watch one of these concerts in its entirety, because the interaction between Lara's songs and her audience is almost as important as her songs themselves. It's hard to watch the whole thing as a reaction on RU-vid unless you're going to split it up. But it can be done outside youtube. "En toute intimité"is my favourite, and it's completely translated into English. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NMHym4N4UXo.htmlsi=ZwZueZ1-f9C2vTDb
For those of us that have known of her for years, it's such a buzz when watching a new 'review' video by vocal coaches. We already know by the end of the video how blown away the coach is going to be ahead of time. Also she is the only one that I know that has created so many reviews by vocal coaches due to the heavy requests they get. I find myself now seeking out the dozens and dozens of these review videos just for the fun of watching their jaws drop in awe, or when they so often actually break down in tears - happens all the time. She would be dynamite in musical theatre, bet you'd kill for her to be in Anastasia? What other artist has that effect ? Imagine how difficult it would be to WRITE and sing great songs/lyrics in a foreign language as she does (e.g. in flawless English etc). Try listening/reviewing her 'Adagio' or 'Broken Vow' or 'Caruso' - unbeatable.
i dont speak english as much as i would like, sorry. But i love the way you react, you don't just listen but you feel and explain, the way it's supposed to be. And shout out to Lara, she's such a crazy singer, but so humble at the same time.... one of my favorite.
The ebb and flow of the song is actually also an indication of the feelings it portrays - when you are in a bad situation, when you are sick, you get bursts of energy, of anger, when you want to DO something, but your energy is so low that those moments don't last long and you drop back into exhaustion/complacency.
Wow ! Wow ! Wow ! What a reaction ! The mix between your musical expertise and your own subjectivity/sensivity is incredibly enligthenig and, I must say, quite moving. By far the best review of this emotional tsunami of a song. Try "Adagio" : she sung it during the same live concert, it gives a new meaning to the word "epic".
holy shit, pretty late on this video, you should done ,could be messiah , one TAKE !!, This was written with in mind !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, DO YOUR RESERARCH PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very late to the party... How easily Tatiana switches from angel to demon voice, will new cease to amaze me. If you look at her throat during the screams, there's no strain or popping veins 🤘 I've been to two of their live concerts and she does both the angel and demon voice live as well Huge respect for the band as well, they're doing an amazing job, and just chilling even in the heavy parts of the song Thank you for the video and cheers from Denmark 👍
Another favorite Morissette song for me is "Love You Still" (sunset version) Morissette is so expressive when she sings! Might I recommend another singer, Stell Ajero of the PPop group SB19. A few incredible performances are "All By Myself" at the David Foster Concert. "Sometime, Somewhere" with Ryan Cayabyab, a well known Filipino composer which led to Ryan giving a song called "Di Ko Masabi" to Stell. The Di Ko Masabi MV is incredible! Lastly Stell's MV of "Anino," a song written by Pablo, the leader of SB19. I also noticed another recommendation for the Disney Night of Wonder with Zephanie, Janella and Stell. It will introduce you to even more Filipino talent!
Gary Valenciano, a legend in Philippine music co wrote and compose this song with his friend for a play told morisette that everybody knows she could sing, so he ask her to sing like she's praying. Also from what I heard that this only took one take.
This is my favorite song of Lara Fabian. It's also my favorite song for Forestella. If you haven't watched them do this song, please do. I've seen plenty of people singing the song that don't compare to Lara or Forestella but it's perfect for these performers. Lara has an amazing voice and her expressions pull you into whatever she sings.
It Pierces straight into my heart and the way Morissette delivers she's genuinely a talented story teller vocalist. Woooh! she makes me cry, aTears flown down my chicks down to my neck and I let it flows and the tears landed straight into my heart. What a lyric, what a song and what an artist vocally talking to our Mesaiah our Lord Jesus ChristShe pulls and brings me to Church. 💯🙏💖💖💖
Thank you so much Cedric that you go back reacting Morissette ❤️❤️❤️ Amen and Praise the Lord 🙏😇 react also her Man of Sorrow performance in Favor Church. As always she's amazing. More power ❤️🙏😇 WOW what a great reaction Cedric ❤️ thanks again. God bless 🙏😇

The One Take video is the greatest version that Mori does of this song, so much more emotional than this video! Truly a Godly performance, a hundred times better than this!
You are talking about dimash and I immediatly quit ! Dimash is a bullshit ! Just a voice with two legs and two arms but he has nothing inside ! And I'm ashamed for him because of her ridiculous french ! I'm french and I don't understand nothing about what he try to Say ! Search the original singer Daniel Balavoine SOS d'un terrien en détresse and you will see and listen emotion and intensity with a pure and simple voice. Dimash don't understand nothing about this song so he's totally unable to share the sense of this wonderful song even if he has an exceptionnal voice ! Nobody could sing this song better than Balavoine because this song was made for him, his voice and his sensibility without making too much and he has nothing to proove... Finally I looked your video because I love so much this cover and I admit your analysis is very nice and fine, you understood absolutely everything 👍👍👍 bravo
Translation of Voilá: Listen to me Me, the wannabe singer Talk about me To your love ones , to your friends Tell them about the girl with the dark eyes and crazy dreams Me, what I want is to write stories that will reach you That’s all There you go, there you go, there you go here is who I am Here I am even if stripped bare, I’m afraid, yes Here I am in the noise And in the silence Look at me Or at least what’s left of it Look at me Before I hate myself What can I say to you, that the lips of another won’t tell you It’s not much, but all I have I put it there. That's it There you go, there you go, there you go here is who I am Here I am even if stripping it's over It’s my face, it’s my cry Here I am, too bad There you go, there you go, there you go It’s right here Me, my dream, my desire How I die, how I laugh Here I am in the noise And in the silence Do not go I beg you to stay for a long time It might not save me, no But to do without you, I don’t know how Love me like you love a friend Who goes away forever I want to be loved, because I don’t know how to love the shape of me. There you go, there you go, there you go here is who I am Here I am even if laying bare I understood Here I am in the noise And in fury too finally look at me And my eyes and my hands Everything I have is here It’s my face, it’s my cry Here I am, here I am, here I am
So nice that you found Lara. Lara is the complete package: outstanding vocals, mesmerizing ability to convey emotion, fantastic stage presence extremely kind and a natural beauty. This was 25 years ago. Let's make a jump in time to 2023 and meet a young Dutch girl who is often called 'the new Lara Fabian'. At the age of 15 (still relatively unknown, even in her home country) she held an audience of 12.500 in the palm of her hand, let grown men cry, left everyone in awe and went viral. Meet Emma Kok. She performed 'Voilá', a song by Barbara Pravi. The famous violinist and conductor André Rieu (also Dutch) made a new arrangement for her and gave her a once in a lifetime chance to perform before a worldwide audience. And she took that chance with both hands! Emma has a backstory. André gives a short introduction to her, so please do not skip this part of the video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KdIhq1tb8Co.htmlsi=5zlB09l_Y19T0E3Z (I'll send the translation in the next comment) For you as a singing actor and currently performing in Anastasia I've got a small treat from Emma. She did a Disney medley last month with songs from the Disney movies Pinocchio and Anastasia: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rhALa-baZGA.htmlsi=UvjDK04EQrS6TXhV There's much more to tell about Emma and the performances she has done so far. But I'll save that for later. Please react to Voila first.
I'm no actor, but I took a few classes here and there, and you knew it was real and good when you were in a scene and it was moment to moment another reality you stepped into accepted totally and glided back out of, where you could look back at it and all there was to say was wow, we NAILED that. And having seen Lara live this summer for the first time, twenty-odd years after these videos were made, she is still making that voice live the moment in astounding ways. If you EVER get the chance to see her live, do whatever you have to do, spend whatever time and money you need to, and go. Don't think twice, just do it. It's an experience of a lifetime.
