They're going back and forth right now between headlining shows and as the opener for Extreme. This was a headlining show with a full set and the Alan Scott Band as the opening act for Living Colour.
Awesome show. This was one of the highlights for sure. My introduction to KISS was when I was 4. Seeing a bloody Gene on Alive II. I was terrified. Told my dad to throw the album away. He said he did. In middle school I found the album hidden. He lied but decided to listen to it. Fell in love instantly with KISS. Fast forward over 30 years later me and my dad went to see KISS in Baltimore so this moment was pretty nostalgic for me. Came full circle for me over 40 years after seeing that bloody man on that album cover. Glad he didnt throw it away!
Great group and visionaries. The songs were very well written and so meaningful. I saw them a number of times in the early days. So happy to still see them together and sounding so good. Thanks for posting
Singer reminds me jus a bit of the singer for Saga. Wasn't my kind of music as a kid but I know talent when I hear it. Glad they are still around. Did they ever do a tune called "The Fix is in"? If not, they should.
I am so glad to see The Fixx still performing. As a fan from their beginning years till now, I can never stop listening to them, and as a bass player for over fifty years, learning their catalog of songs has been truely a life of enjoyment. Thank you guys for many years of musical bliss!!!
As ever the world is a perverse place where one ALIVE is forced to relive his particular emotions being an Artist. Kudos to Dave for bleeding out gems :) And keepin' it real still
I had no idea that they're still playing shows. Cool. It's funny that I don't remember ever seeing them or knowing what they look like. Anyway they sound pretty good, and I'm glad to see them jam in front of a happy crowd.
Were you wearing the Pygmalion t? I was there and agree, the mix was a little crazy in the lows -- the last two Drab Majesty songs made my eyeballs rattle in their sockets, lol. Thanks for the upload! Hoping to see "Catch the Breeze" here soon!
