It's ok, but glad a got to try it on Gamepass instead of buying it. The missions added up to about a week of gameplay and the free roam mode doesn't hold my attention for long. The city looks great, but there is not nearly enough to do in it, and it's mostly just a background to look at. Would rather replay just about any GTA game from 3 on again, rather than replay this. Also thought the artificial difficulty of it gets a little annoying when you hit one guy 17 times with a Tommy gun and it doesn't even slow them down. Easy felt like normal and normal felt like you were fighting a bunch of B.S. T-800s. I don't usually need to ease up a game, but replaying the same mission a dozen times because the enemies are super-human and can just overwhelm you with numbers when you are playing well, taps into a enjoyment a bit.
The greatest compliment I can give this game is that often I opt not to take the fast travel option, for the sheer scenic and immersive adventure of each trip.
Getting the Sorrow Field dungeon is frustrating to get the monkey key, assault rifle and spirit trait. I re-rolled a dozen times and still no Sorrow Field dungeon WTF?
I bought it on sale for $12 and enjoying it a lot and yes, very brutal difficulty. Best bet is play coop with others to have better experience. I dislike McCabe she is such a nasty smelly bitch howerver why make such a nasty NPC who is a bitch for no reason?
Just beat it for the 3rd time on steamdeck. Absolutely worth playing, very underrated. The Story is pretty good, side quests, armour/weapon variety and the gameplay loop is fun. I would highly recommend not using the item that tells you which direction the enemy is attacking from, if your an experienced player it’s much better without it.
I played this game on my XBOX console (through XBOX Game Pass) and unlocked all its achievements. This game is rough, but something is genuinely precious at its core. If it had a better budget, more development time, and more refined and polished gameplay mechanics, this game would have kicked ass. This game had so much going for it, but so much of it felt tedious. I played through it multiple times, and the problems that you mentioned in this video really exposed themselves. A properly implemented New Game Plus mode would have made this game much more fun for numerous playthroughs and easier to manage. They didn’t even include it in an update.
Stalker might be a bit dated and janky but it is pretty fun in my opinion I just bought the trilogies and I have metro exodus and chernobylite gonna finish shadow of chernobyl and I'll either play metro exodus or stalker clear sky but then again idk I might try to hop on metros hardest difficulty, I love playing shooters on highest difficulty for the realistic level of punishment and making you think before you act and adds value to what you do
Everything about this game is beyond exceptional. The world building is deep and compelling; the gameplay systems interwoven expertly; the inspired visuals stylised in a way that has aged beautifully over the years.
Days Gone is criminally underrated it's my favorite game and my first platinum. Days Gone and Ghost of Tsushima are PlayStation best exclusives and the most deserving of sequels imo
I'm pretty adamant at this point that the best way to play this game is in hardcore mode. The immersion is just so good. I love really living as Henry for the short bursts of time that I get to. I even bought it on switch and honestly, for what it is, it might be my second favorite version just from the sheer spectacle of how well they actually got it to run on that hardware.
Just got back into the game a few weeks ago, and it's fantastic, especially if I only have a short time to play, I can hop in, maybe do a quick resource run, save and then go about my day without worry
How often do people come into your comments and bring up Typical City? The moment you started speaking I clocked it. No doubt in my mind. Not even looking it up! Anyway, love Kojima.. and CTID.
I'm sort of like you where i dont really enjoy the movies (Revenge of the Sith is an exception for me) but the lore and the world of Star Wars is very intruguing so i will play Star Wars games for that
This game is kinda old now but It's hella fun to play. The drought were in right now.. this game could be a perfect choice if you were ever on the fence about playing it. Play people you wont regret it.
its better value for money than hundreds of other games the world is huge, and you can replay with different techniques on each run. Many games like starfield, I'm barely playing a few months later I consistently keep going back to forbidden west a few times each week after more than a year I enjoy running climbing and hunting rabbits to upgrade my gear, it doesn't feel like the grind that it is. Its actually a lot of fun to run across the map instead of fast travel, and to climb even after I could fly. The flying is so great, I wish it came a little earlier in the game.
