What mother tongue? Is it Aramaic? Greek? Russian? Serbian? There is no such thing as a sacred language and your comment stands in complete opposition to the history and mind of the Church. You are wrong! Remember, ethnophyletism is a heresy. English is the native tongue of this parish and they're right to use it. On the day of Pentecost all languages were heard! @GodsHerosGodsHeros Saint Andrew's isn't Greek; it's part of the OCA, which has a Russian background, so should they speak in Church Slavonic? In fact, you should look into the lives of Saints Cyril and Methodius or even the work of St. Herman of Alaska.

The Orthodox Church has always taught in the language of the people, which is why the Antiochian church uses Arabic, the Albanian church uses Albanian, the OCA uses English, Church Slavonic, Romanian, Albanian and Native Alaskan, the Serbians use Church Slavonic and Serbian, and so on. Of course this includes Greek where Greek is spoken, but even here, the Koine Greek of the New Testament and the Byzantine Greek of the liturgical service books is seldom what is preached in the vernacular.

It wasn’t a silly question. It was being asked because people were forced to get the 💉 or they lose their jobs, or can’t go to food outlets to buy food etc. - so no not a silly question at all.
Forgive me for being contradictory here, but it disturbs me greatly when I see our leaders not being aware of what is transpiring out there. This may not be the mark of the beast but possible the precursor to the mark. The likelihood of those who have received the mRNA jabs to have potentially lost their right to be free humans is in itself disturbing. I have done extensive, verifiable research on all this and happy to forward it anyone interested. It is not a Uni research, but an informational one. Many Elders & Saints have warned us about this coming. Our leaders appear to on the whole lost their way and it is very difficult for those of us looking for shepherds who will show us the way during these dark and confusing times facing humanity.

Without having gone back and listened again, I'd say he is speaking in the context of our day to day lives. Our pride, our false idols (which sometimes is money), and all the other everyday things that lead us away from Christ are little antichrists. And pride is like a little mark of the beast, a voluntary acceptance of the devil's leadership. He isn't speaking about the specific events that will happen in the end times, though he easily could if he wanted. Father Adam is always reminding us that the end of your life is the most urgent apocalypse you'll face. However, in the end times, it is pride that will lead people to follow the (big) Antichrist and accept his mark.
