Do you feel that your bose 901 vi is good enough for the rest fo your system? Many have bad things to say about the speakers but to me they sounded pretty good and I love the mid modern century look, especially those tullip stands. good taste on your part
I think i don't recommend for thoes because of too much bass it could be damage the speakers, for me just listening normal music and not too much loud for that it is very good :)
Whew can feel those woody low bass notes,going low and that room looks quite large,in a small room would these be to much maybe 301v is better or enough.
Yes you are absolutely right, it does play but the only problem is you can’t use Spotify otherwise every thing perfectly but you can use other streaming 😀

Hello my friend, Actually I'm using Spotify with my CXN V2 also amplifier is CXA 80 and sound came unbelievable. This is my first Canton Speaker after that I bought the white Canton GLE 436 also that also good sound and you can see my another video that I used white Canton GLE 436. The same song on three different models maybe would be more siginificative.But as I said, that's my point of view. :) By the way, do you record your videos via mobile phone ? (Apple I guess ?) :)
What people don't understand, is that the Bose 901 is equalized quite literally for the speaker's shortcomings in it's basic design. Starting off, you can't expect a 4.5" driver to deliver full range sound, no matter how many there are in the array. Also, because it is a reflective sound design, different frequencies require different amounts of power so they can reach the listener at the appropriate time. These limitations will always be the 901's Achillies heel when it comes to accurate music reproduction. Getting back to the equalizer, in theory it should be a good thing, yet in reality it can't perform magic to improve a poor design.
@@scottt7400 - Well, I’m not going to spend my time investigating “every” speaker just to prove a point. Most speakers employ separate tweeters and woofers, and without the addition of a crossover, they would sound horrible. True? Since the 901s do not employ separate tweeters and woofers, they rely on equalization instead. So this argument is moxnix. The point, without having to get deep into the weeds, is that no speaker, regardless of price, leaves the factory without the application of crossover and/or equalization. So to single the 901s out is a bit unfair. That’s all I’m saying.
@@dannymcneal Crossovers, and Equalizers are totally two different talking points. Essentially, crossovers allow physics to work as intended, and EQ's fix anomalies after the fact. The problem with having all 4.5" drivers, is that they only cater to "midrange" frequencies. They have way too much inertia created by mass to play high frequency treble, and they don't have the surface area, or excursion to play the long wave required for deep accurate bass. While EQ's can't cure the failings of using a midsize speaker driver, they can boost/reduce certain frequencies produced by an accurate two, or three-way speaker in a room with very bad acoustics. This is because the speaker plays the content correctly, its the room itself that nullifies it by changing the timing ques of some frequencies that hurt the sound quality.
Great sound even through streaming. Bose 901`s are great speakers. I have 2 towers (one 901 on top of the other, that is 4 901`s). To improve the sound, I have 2 tweeters, a special developement of a German company. These tweeters are completely integrated in the Bose system, sounds like sitting in first line, specialy for classical Music. There is nothing better then 4 Bose 901!!
@@DilamDarshandhari - Originally, Bose 901s were hailed by audiophiles as creating lifelike concert sound. But then, prominent speaker companies and their “experts” started to bash the 901s. Suddenly, those same audiophiles, like unwitting rats following the Pied Piper to the cliff, changed their tune as well, and started bashing them. Why did they praise them, and then suddenly change their minds? Can’t be a change in their sound quality-must have been peer pressure from those they admired. And that biased view is no way to evaluate true speaker performance. I love your setup! And I love my 901 Vs mated to a vintage Technics SH-8066 computer equalizer (in line after the Bose equalizer) with pink noise generator.

Hello my friend can you give some reason why you write Sound is flat ...actually depend on the which type of music and how do you listen. If you listen in small device or mobile of course that would be flat but if you try to listen headphone either on the monitor, you should note different......

They will also sue you if you compare their speakers on a video with other speakers. Great review / demo. I was given a pair which were mint. Placed them in the garage as rear speakers paired with Technics A51 I picked up at a garage sale Mint for $20.00 each. Bottom line the garage sounds AWESOME. Great speakers!

I am a Definitive Technology shop lol purchased the Sandy Gross era BP Super Towers 7001 pair 7002 pair and 7006 pair for the living room and master with Centers and Sudio Monitors surrounds. 15 years later and still kicking ass. By they way they don't make speakers like they use to. Good rule of thumb never buy Speaker from a company where the founder has left and sold to corporate wanna be's.
Hei, Yes of course and thank you for comment. By the way this time I’m using monster cable like heavy duty, it is more than 2.5 kilograms each connection. Actually speakers cable make a huge difference sound when you listen front not in RU-vid video, I means really front of the system. Before I didn’t recommend like a giant cable, now I can say to my viewers that yes it is makes a huge difference between normal gages wires and heavy duty wires but one for them who can offer. They are many peoples who have different choices so I just want to tell that it’s good to have those things who are such a good listener and about interconnected cables that I’m using Van den hul balance cable and also same company but RCA connector for 901 equalizer.
Not anymore but last year was 2017 after that they stopped the production and last version was series vi …..actually some people doesn’t like the Bose speakers or 901 but I’m happy with this speakers. People they have Owen style to listen and likings:)
@@jordansarracino454 Hei, yes I had too, unfortunately I sold them last year but you can see in my other video they are some video I made for Bose 701. I was happy with the 701 too then I got 2 pairs of 901 so I sold them but still I have one pair of 301 vi and I want to sell them :)
