I was so disappointed to learn that many of the “facts” Mr. Harvey stated, were embellishments of the truth or outright falsehoods. How sad that he didn’t verify them!
It seems that most people these days do not know or even care about honor. There love for their fellow man has grown cold and their love for themselves has grown steaming hot. Integrity and honesty and morality have been replaced by greed and deciet and vile decadence. All for one and one for all has been replace by all for me and only me. True love for others is replaced by love of self. And governance slowly ever so slowly replaced by tyranny and anarchy. God bless those who still believe and know that our hope is in Jesus. Taking the blood and treasure invested by Britain, and running off with the family silver in the family's horse and cart, is hardly 'nothing to lose'. The oligarchs who owned the plantations and the oligarchs who owned the ships objected to paying just 2c to help defend their goods on the high seas, from the French. The Royal Navy, paid for by the British were doing stirling work defending colonists' goods and ships. And they didn't like being in 'competition' on a level playing field with the ex-French in Canada who were now British too. The Oligarchs conspired with the French and conned the average working colonist. Then, having 'won' a war against their parent country which did not wish to fight against its favoured son, those oligarchs sat down and wrote not just a Constitution and a Declaration, but lots of tax laws including a 6c tax on everyone to pay the same Royal Navy against the same French.

Unfortunately, we now have two generations who were never taught what our Founders laid on the line. Today we have a very similar group risking everything to restore our Constitutional Republic.
